隱喻一直是西方哲學(xué)家和語言學(xué)家研究的熱點(diǎn)。兩千多年前的亞里士多德認(rèn)為隱喻是修飾性的且是人與生俱來的天賦；20世紀(jì)30年代的理查德提出隱喻互動(dòng)理論；在20世紀(jì)70年代,隱喻與哲學(xué)、心理學(xué)、符號學(xué)及認(rèn)知科學(xué)等領(lǐng)域相結(jié)合的研究形成了“隱喻熱”；1980年萊考夫和約翰遜合著的《我們賴以生存的隱喻》一書的出版,標(biāo)志著隱喻在認(rèn)知方面的研究進(jìn)入了一個(gè)新紀(jì)元。書中指出,隱喻無處不在,不僅存在于語言中,也存在于人們的思維和行動(dòng)中,我們賴以思維和行動(dòng)的日常概念系統(tǒng),其本質(zhì)就是隱喻的。隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的飛速發(fā)展,越來越多的經(jīng)濟(jì)現(xiàn)象隨之產(chǎn)生,從而帶來了越來越多的新的抽象經(jīng)濟(jì)概念,比如說“財(cái)政懸崖”。2012年底,美國布什政府時(shí)期和金融危機(jī)后推出的減稅政策到期,2013年1月1日美國將同時(shí)面臨增加稅收和減少開支的政策疊加的局面,這使得美國政府的財(cái)政支出曲線看上去像懸崖,“財(cái)政懸崖”這一生動(dòng)形象的術(shù)語應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。報(bào)刊雜志中有大量關(guān)于財(cái)政懸崖的報(bào)道評論。那么這些報(bào)道評論是怎樣圍繞“懸崖”這一隱喻展開的?有沒有其他類型的概念隱喻來一同說明“財(cái)政懸崖”這一現(xiàn)象?本文以萊考夫和約翰遜的概念隱喻為理論基礎(chǔ),選用權(quán)威財(cái)經(jīng)雜志《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)家...
