網(wǎng)絡科技報道的可視化應用研究

【摘要】:2009年時任美國總統(tǒng)奧巴馬在首個立法條例中宣布開放一個新的數(shù)據(jù)網(wǎng)站data.gov,此后,澳大利亞、英國、新西蘭等國家紛紛在國家和州、市等層面開通了相關的數(shù)據(jù)集網(wǎng)站,這為數(shù)據(jù)新聞的發(fā)展助推了重要的一步。美國皮尤研究中心早在2014年發(fā)布的媒體研究報告中就提出“我們正在尋找那些能夠適應數(shù)字媒體采編流程的新聞采編多面手,比如數(shù)據(jù)庫記者、可視化記者和計算機記者。”這表明,在數(shù)據(jù)的推動下,新聞領域在新聞的表現(xiàn)形式、人才需求等方面正迎來新的革命。大數(shù)據(jù)時代,數(shù)據(jù)內(nèi)容的生產(chǎn)和挖掘、新聞可視化形式的呈現(xiàn),是轉變新聞報道功能和價值的重要方式?萍寂c數(shù)據(jù)之間的關系密不可分,大數(shù)據(jù)時代的到來為科技類報道提供了天然的契機。弗朗西斯·培根曾說過“知識的力量不僅取決于其自身的價值,更取決于它是否被傳播以及被傳播的深度與廣度。”目前,科學信息傳播的理念及方式明顯滯后于社會的進步與科技發(fā)展速度的需求,此外,科技類新聞報道由于其專業(yè)性、知識性、科學性等特點,使它對受眾理解力的要求高于一般的社會、文化及服務類的新聞。傳統(tǒng)的以文字表述為主的科技新聞報道往往很難被大眾所理解和接受?梢暬菙(shù)據(jù)新聞的呈現(xiàn)方式之一,它幾乎涉及了生產(chǎn)數(shù)據(jù)新聞所需要經(jīng)歷所有步驟——數(shù)據(jù)的獲取、理解和傳達,在科技信息的傳播中有巨大的應用潛力。近些年,可視化技術開始與科技新聞報道頻繁接軌,國外有諸多優(yōu)秀的關于科技報道可視化應用案例。國內(nèi)可視化技術在科技報道領域也有所涉足,本文的研究論述內(nèi)容分為五個部分。第一部分,筆者對網(wǎng)絡科技報道和可視化的概念進行梳理,并總結出當前環(huán)境下網(wǎng)絡科技報道的特征,以及新聞可視化的表現(xiàn)形式。第二部分,筆者對新聞可視化的動因和作用進行分析,為可視化的運用提供有效的理論前提。第三部分,筆者從權威性、普及性、代表性等多層面的綜合考察,選取具有典型代表性的新華網(wǎng)《數(shù)據(jù)新聞》中的《新極客》板塊、新浪科技《圖解天下》以及中國科技網(wǎng)《數(shù)據(jù)新聞》三個網(wǎng)站中的可視化報道為研究樣本,從報道題材、數(shù)據(jù)來源、可視化形式、用戶關注度、主體文字篇幅等五個緯度考察這三個具有代表性網(wǎng)站是如何構建相關的科技類可視化新聞報道。第四部分,筆者針對研究結果并結合國內(nèi)外有效經(jīng)驗,提出我國網(wǎng)絡科技報道在可視化運用方面存在的問題,并提出促進方略。第五部分,筆者結合前文提到的可視化應用現(xiàn)狀及發(fā)展空間提出可視化技術在閱讀模式和報道內(nèi)容方面的運用前景。
[Abstract]:After President Barack Obama announced the opening of a new data site, data.gov, in his first legislative act in 2009, countries such as Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand have opened related data collection websites at the national, state and city levels.This is an important step forward for the development of data news."We are looking for news editors who can adapt to the digital media editing process, such as database reporters, visual journalists and computer journalists," the Pew Research Center said in a media research report released in 2014.This indicates that, driven by the data, the news field is facing a new revolution in the forms of news and the demand for talents.In big data's time, the production and mining of data content and the presentation of news visual form are important ways to change the function and value of news report.The relationship between science and technology and data is inseparable, big data era provides a natural opportunity for science and technology reports.Francis Bacon once said that "the power of knowledge depends not only on its own value, but also on whether it is spread and the depth and breadth of it spread."At present, the concept and method of scientific information dissemination lags behind the progress of society and the demand of the speed of science and technology development. In addition, science and technology news reports are characterized by their professionalism, knowledge, scientific nature, etc.It requires higher understanding of the audience than the general social, cultural and service types of news.The traditional science and technology news report, which is mainly written, is difficult to be understood and accepted by the public.Visualization is one of the presentation methods of data news. It almost involves all the steps of data acquisition, understanding and communication in the production of data news. It has great application potential in the dissemination of scientific and technological information.In recent years, the visualization technology begins to connect with the science and technology news report frequently, there are many excellent cases about the science and technology report visualization application abroad.Domestic visualization technology is also involved in the field of science and technology reporting, the research content of this paper is divided into five parts.In the first part, the author combs the concepts of network science and technology report and visualization, and sums up the characteristics of network science and technology report under the current environment, as well as the manifestation of news visualization.In the second part, the author analyzes the causes and functions of news visualization, which provides an effective theoretical premise for the application of visualization.The third part, the author from the authority, popularization, representativeness and other aspects of the comprehensive investigation, select a typical Xinhua net "data news" in the "new geek" plate,Visual reports from three websites of Sina Science and Technology, "illustrating the World" and China Science and Technology Network, "data News", are research samples, from the subject matter of the report, the source of data, the form of visualization, the degree of user concern,This paper explores how the three representative websites construct the related visual news reports of science and technology from the five latitudes of the main text.In the fourth part, according to the research results and the effective experience at home and abroad, the author puts forward the problems existing in the visual application of network science and technology reports in our country, and puts forward some strategies to promote them.In the fifth part, the author puts forward the application prospect of visualization technology in reading mode and reporting content according to the present situation and developing space of visual application mentioned above.
