伊恩·麥克尤恩是英國(guó)當(dāng)代著名作家,在文壇冠有“陰森的麥克尤恩”稱號(hào)。從1978年的作品《水泥花園》問(wèn)世開始,麥克尤恩至今已經(jīng)出版了13部長(zhǎng)篇小說(shuō)。小說(shuō)《贖罪》發(fā)表于2001年,被認(rèn)為是伊恩·麥克尤恩最具成就的小說(shuō)之一,并獲得布克獎(jiǎng)等多項(xiàng)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)的提名,并最終獲得W·H·史密斯文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)。《時(shí)代周刊》將其列入有史以來(lái)最偉大的百部小說(shuō)之一。小說(shuō)《贖罪》主要敘述了主人公成長(zhǎng)的故事:十三歲年幼無(wú)知的少女因誤會(huì)導(dǎo)致姐姐和她相愛(ài)的人分離,之后隨著成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷頓悟和反省,以自我贖罪逐漸褪去稚嫩,最后尾聲進(jìn)入晚年坦白一切,完成了一生的成長(zhǎng)之旅。可以說(shuō)《贖罪》是一部典型的成長(zhǎng)小說(shuō),但是從這個(gè)角度去分析文本的研究作品卻屈指可數(shù)。成長(zhǎng)是文學(xué)作品永恒的主題,也是當(dāng)代英國(guó)文學(xué)關(guān)注的一大焦點(diǎn),成長(zhǎng)小說(shuō)正是這類“敘述青少年成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程講述青少年成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷的小說(shuō)”類型。本論文結(jié)合成長(zhǎng)小說(shuō)理論彌補(bǔ)目前國(guó)內(nèi)研究不詳盡的現(xiàn)狀,豐富了對(duì)于成長(zhǎng)小說(shuō)理論以及麥克尤恩文本的探究。論文將從五部分來(lái)分析《贖罪》的成長(zhǎng)小說(shuō)特征。緒論部分介紹英國(guó)作家麥克尤恩及其作品《贖罪》,并對(duì)小說(shuō)的國(guó)內(nèi)外研究進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)要介紹,并提出論文的組織結(jié)構(gòu)。第一章為理論基礎(chǔ)闡釋部分,...
