女性權威的建構—《牙買加客�！返呐灾髁x敘事學研究

【摘要】：達芙妮·杜穆里埃是英國20世紀著名女作家。她深受哥特派小說的影響,創(chuàng)作了一系列哥特式浪漫主義作品�！堆蕾I加客�！芳词撬缙诟缣厥浇浀鋺乙尚≌f之一。這部小說關注女性命運,將女性與懸疑相結合,一經出版便大獲成功,這與作者所采用的靈活巧妙的敘事技巧緊密相關。目前國內外對《牙買加客棧》的研究并不多,相關研究主要集中在對它的哥特式風格和女性主義思想等方面,鮮少有人從女性主義敘事學角度去研究該小說。因此,本文以女性主義敘事學理論為指導,分別從敘述聲音和敘述視角兩個方面來探究《牙買加客�！返臄⑹绿攸c,并發(fā)掘小說敘事技巧對文本內建構女性權威的積極作用。文章分為五個章節(jié):第一章主要介紹達芙妮·杜穆里埃的生平經歷,《牙買加客�！返闹饕獌热�,文獻綜述,以及本文的寫作意義。第二章主要闡述女性主義敘事學的起源與發(fā)展以及它的兩個重要概念:敘事聲音和敘事視角。第三章從敘述聲音的角度出發(fā),分別論述作者型聲音與集體型聲音在《牙買加客棧》中的應用以及這兩種敘述聲音如何建構女性權威。達芙妮運用作者型聲音講述故事,并通過對女性人物的塑造和命運的關注,傳達出她的女性主義意識,進而構建女性權威。集體型聲音包含女主人公的單言和與他人對話的輪言兩種模式。集體型聲音的運用重塑了女性主體意識,建構了女人公的女性權威。第四章分析《牙買加客�！分械臄⑹鲆暯�:第三人稱敘述者的全知視角,女主人公的固定內視角以及這兩種視角之間的轉化。全知視角即敘述者的視角,主要表現(xiàn)在寫景與人物心理刻畫,使讀者深入了解女主人公的內心世界,建構女主人公的主體意識,從而建立起女性權威。而女主人公的固定內視角,一方面,顛覆了男性敘事秩序,使女性由被看的客體成為主動看的主體;另一方面,女性敘事視角呈現(xiàn)了女性心里活動和思想,加強了女性的主體意識。視角之間的轉換讓讀者感受到女性意識的變化,豐富了女性形象,同時使小說懸念迭起。最后一部分是論文的結語。達芙妮通過巧妙地運用敘述聲音和敘述視角來顛覆男性敘事傳統(tǒng),建構出女性作家獨特的敘事權威。
[Abstract]:Daphne du Muriere is a famous British woman writer in the 20th century. Deeply influenced by Gothic novels, she created a series of Gothic Romantic works. Jamaica Inn is one of her early Gothic classic suspense novels. The novel, which focuses on the fate of women and combines women with suspense, has been a great success since it was published, which is closely related to the flexible and ingenious narrative techniques adopted by the author. At present, there are few researches on Jamaican Inn at home and abroad. The related studies mainly focus on its Gothic style and feminist thought. Few people study the novel from the perspective of feminist narratology. Therefore, under the guidance of feminist narratology theory, this paper explores the narrative characteristics of Jamaican Inn from two aspects of narrative voice and narrative perspective, and explores the positive role of narrative techniques in the construction of female authority in the text. The article is divided into five chapters: the first chapter mainly introduces Daphne du Muriere's life experience, the main contents of "Jamaica Inn", the literature review, and the significance of this paper. The second chapter mainly expounds the origin and development of feminist narratology and its two important concepts: narrative sound and narrative perspective. The third chapter discusses the application of author voice and collective voice in Jamaica Inn and how to construct female authority. Daphne uses the writer's voice to tell the story and conveys her feminist consciousness through the attention to the portrayal and fate of the female characters and then constructs the female authority. The collective voice consists of two modes: the heroine's monologue and the dialogue with others. The use of collective voice has reshaped the consciousness of female subject and constructed the female authority of female public. The fourth chapter analyzes the narrative perspective in Jamaica Inn: the omniscient perspective of the third person narrator, the fixed internal perspective of the heroine and the transformation between the two perspectives. The omniscient perspective is the narrator's angle of view, which is mainly manifested in the writing of the scene and the psychological portrayal of the characters, so that the reader can deeply understand the heroine's inner world, construct the heroine's subjective consciousness, and thus establish the female authority. On the one hand, the female protagonist's fixed internal angle of view subverts the male narrative order and makes the female from the object to be seen as the subject of active viewing; On the other hand, the female narrative angle presents the female mind activity and thought, strengthens the female subjective consciousness. The change of visual angle makes readers feel the change of female consciousness, enriches the female image, and makes the novel suspense. The last part is the conclusion of the thesis. Daphne subverts the male narrative tradition by skillfully using narrative voice and narrative angle to construct the unique narrative authority of female writers.
