【摘要】：毫無疑問,T.S.艾略特是20世紀(jì)最具影響力的詩人之一。學(xué)術(shù)界對他的詩歌和詩歌理論進行了深入的研究,取得了豐碩的成果,但是這些研究成果主要集中在其杰作《荒原》和《四個四重奏》以及詩歌理論方面,而他的早期詩歌卻沒有引起足夠的重視。其實,艾略特的早期詩歌具有非常豐富的內(nèi)涵,特別是對城市的書寫表達了詩人對現(xiàn)代化、城市化的憂思與焦慮。本文擬借用城市理論和現(xiàn)代性理論資源,對詩人早期詩歌中的城市景象和城市居民生活及精神狀態(tài)進行剖析,進而揭示艾略特對西方現(xiàn)代性進程的反思與批判。
[Abstract]:There is no doubt that T.S. Eliot was one of the most influential poets of the 20 th century. The academic circles have carried on the thorough research to his poetry and the poetry theory, has obtained the rich achievement, but these research results mainly concentrate on his masterpiece "the waste Land" and "the four Quintets" and the poetry theory. His early poems did not attract enough attention. In fact, Elliott's early poetry has a very rich connotation, especially the writing of the city to express the poet's worries and anxiety about modernization and urbanization. Using the resources of urban theory and modernity theory, this paper analyzes the urban scene and the living and spiritual state of urban residents in the poet's early poetry, and then reveals Eliot's reflection and criticism on the process of western modernity.
