【摘要】：愛麗絲·門羅是加拿大著名女短篇小說家,并在2013年獲得諾貝爾文學(xué)獎。本文選取門羅中年時期并帶有自傳色彩的一部短篇小說《你以為你是誰》,從女性主義視角出發(fā),探討小說中女主人公羅斯的身份探求。小說中女主人公羅斯來自貧民階層,性格敏感,心思細膩,不滿于小鎮(zhèn)的貧窮、落后,極盡所能逃離她出生的小鎮(zhèn)。通過考取大學(xué)她得以進入城市,接觸到城市的富裕和先進的文化,并順利俘獲富家子弟的愛慕。然而,貧富的懸殊注定這份婚姻無疾而終。歷經(jīng)輾轉(zhuǎn),步入中年的羅斯是一位經(jīng)濟獨立的女性,卻始終遭受不解與歧視,而且對自己的事業(yè)也失去了信心。最后通過返鄉(xiāng),羅斯對繼母,對家鄉(xiāng),對童年往事有了新的認識,從而對自我有了新的認識,并從中汲取力量,終于突破自我,發(fā)展自我。該小說揭示了父權(quán)社會對女性的偏見導(dǎo)致女性生存空間的單調(diào)狹小,父權(quán)價值觀影響了女性對自我身份的認知。通過女主人公對“我是誰?”的回答,愛麗絲·門羅展示了女性對身份探索以及明確自我身份的重要性。論文意圖說明,女性身份的探索是一個持續(xù)的過程,女性想要在父權(quán)社會中擺脫男性的影響,構(gòu)建自我身份,避免不了來自各方面的壓力和挑戰(zhàn),應(yīng)抱以積極地態(tài)度和發(fā)展的眼光來看待。另外,小說集里體現(xiàn)了女性追求自由獨立的精神,對現(xiàn)代女性在探索自我、發(fā)展自我的過程中有積極地借鑒意義。
[Abstract]:Alice Monroe is a famous Canadian short story writer who won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2013. This paper selects a middle-aged and autobiographical short story "Who Do You Think You Are" from a feminist perspective to explore the identity of Rose, the heroine of the novel. The people are sensitive and delicate. They are not satisfied with the poverty and backwardness of the town. They try their best to escape from the town where she was born. Middle-aged Rose is an economically independent woman, but always suffered from inexplicable and discrimination, and also lost confidence in his career. Finally, through returning home, Rose has a new understanding of his stepmother, his hometown, and his childhood past, thus he has a new understanding of himself, and draw strength from it, and finally break through the ego, self-development. It shows that the prejudice of patriarchal society towards women leads to the monotony and narrowness of women's living space, and the patriarchal values influence women's cognition of self-identity.Alice Monroe shows the importance of women's exploration of identity and the clarity of self-identity through the heroine's answer to "Who am I?". Soe is a continuous process, women want to get rid of the influence of men in the patriarchal society, to build their own identity, can not avoid pressure and challenges from all aspects, should be treated with a positive attitude and development perspective. I have a positive reference in my process.
