[Abstract]:In the historical succession of literary texts, there may be a series of meanings which are not conceived by the author, or even contained by the text itself. They are not inherent in the text, so they are called redundant meanings. Thirdly, redundant meaning is regarded as the material of literary history, that is, literary history is not only about the past of literature, but also about the development of literature and even the landscape in today's vision. This discussion on redundant meaning may become a new opportunity for literary history. As a product of the process of literary history, redundant meaning needs us to discover actively rather than wait passively.
