【摘要】：薇拉·凱瑟是美國(guó)最重要的鄉(xiāng)土小說(shuō)家之一,然而,人們往往會(huì)因此忽略她筆下的內(nèi)布拉斯加草原具有超越鄉(xiāng)土的景觀(guān)指涉。本文以《我的安東妮亞》為考察對(duì)象,分析凱瑟借助草原邊疆景觀(guān)表征對(duì)鍛造美國(guó)國(guó)家屬性的邊疆空間的彰顯、對(duì)"進(jìn)步時(shí)代"美國(guó)景觀(guān)的現(xiàn)代化進(jìn)程的敏銳捕捉以及對(duì)美國(guó)共同體家園的建構(gòu),以此探究凱瑟地域景觀(guān)表征的國(guó)家維度。
[Abstract]:Vera Cather is one of the most important local novelists in the United States. However, people tend to ignore the fact that her Nebraska prairie has a landscape beyond the country. Taking my Antonia as the object of investigation, this paper analyzes Cather's display of frontier space that forged American national identity with the help of grassland frontier landscape representation. In order to explore the national dimension of the representation of Cather's regional landscape, the sharp capture of the modernization process of American landscape in the "Progressive era" and the construction of the homeland of the American Community are discussed.
