【摘要】：托妮·莫里森是美國著名的黑人女小說家,被稱為"美國黑人史的百科全書",她主要擅長創(chuàng)作長篇小說,并在1993年獲得了諾貝爾文學獎。小說《爵士樂》是托妮·莫里森在1992年創(chuàng)作的第六篇長篇后現代主義小說,也是她文學創(chuàng)作上的一個重要的里程碑。作者將文章中觀察的對象再一次的放在歷史背景之下,講述美國黑人的愛情故事。小說以爵士樂作為敘事的策略和風格,不但融入了爵士樂的本質靈魂以塑造小說的文字,而且還多樣地展示了在那個特殊的歷史時期下美國黑人面對生存的要求和面對文化差異的困難。本文試在對《爵士樂》作品的介紹的基礎下,以小說的音樂性為切入點,結合爵士樂的幾個音樂元素來分析小說的文本意義,以探討小說的音樂性。
[Abstract]:Toni Morrison, a famous black woman novelist in the United States, is called the Encyclopedia of Black American History. She is good at writing novels and won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993. Jazz is the sixth long postmodernist novel written by Toni Morrison in 1992. It is also an important milestone in her literary creation. The author once again puts the subject under the historical background and tells the love story of black Americans. The novel takes jazz as the narrative strategy and style, not only into the essence of jazz to shape the writing of the novel. In addition, it also shows that in that special historical period, black Americans face the demands of survival and the difficulties of facing cultural differences. Based on the introduction of the works of Jazz, this paper tries to analyze the textual significance of the novel by combining the musicality of the novel with several musical elements of jazz, in order to probe into the musicality of the novel.
