【摘要】：小說《老人與�！返闹魅斯Ｌ醽喐缡呛Ｃ魍降挠⑿廴宋�,世界文學(xué)史上公認(rèn)的“硬漢”形象。他的“硬漢”形象也蘊(yùn)含著典型的西方文化個人主義精神,但是其性格中的個人主義和現(xiàn)實(shí)生活中人們所理解的個人主義之間,在內(nèi)涵、基本特征和對人類社會的作用三個方面存在較大的區(qū)別,因此,海明威在塑造桑提亞哥“硬漢”形象的同時也從文學(xué)藝術(shù)視角闡釋了西方文化中個人主義的內(nèi)涵,反映了西方民主和自由的局限性。
[Abstract]:Santiago, the protagonist of the novel Old Man and the Sea, is a hero of Hemingway style and is recognized as a tough man in the history of world literature. His image of "tough man" also contains the typical individualism spirit of western culture, but between the individualism in his character and the individualism in real life, the connotation is between the individualism in his personality and the individualism that people understand in real life. There are great differences between the basic characteristics and the function of human society. Therefore, Hemingway not only portrays Santiago's "tough man" image, but also explains the connotation of individualism in western culture from the perspective of literature and art. It reflects the limitations of western democracy and freedom.
