【摘要】：《英倫魔法師》是當(dāng)代英國(guó)作家蘇珊娜.克拉克斯的首部小說(shuō)作品,在英國(guó)乃至全球獲得廣泛贊譽(yù)和肯定,但現(xiàn)有相關(guān)研究尚少。本文主要研究該作品中的哥特式元素,從《英倫魔法師》的意象,角色和情節(jié)三個(gè)層面分別論證了該作品的哥特性,并挖掘出其中包含的不同“矛盾”和反映出的不同“焦慮”。從意象上看,同一物體中包含兩種不同的含義,這種表里不一引發(fā)對(duì)物體真實(shí)含義的困惑。從人物上看,角色個(gè)性和設(shè)定自相矛盾,角色關(guān)系沖突明顯,反映了對(duì)不可控主觀因素和客觀現(xiàn)實(shí)的無(wú)助感。從情節(jié)上看,該作品詭異而恐怖敘事體現(xiàn)了明顯的哥特性,并在某些情節(jié)中包含了傳統(tǒng)哥特范式中的兩性沖突和當(dāng)代社會(huì)的新矛盾,引發(fā)出一系列的恐懼。該作品借用傳統(tǒng)哥特文學(xué)元素反映當(dāng)下社會(huì)問題,是“哥特”生命力的經(jīng)久不衰的又一力證,也對(duì)同類作品取得市場(chǎng)成功具有一定參考意義。
[Abstract]:This paper mainly studies the Gothic elements in the works , and finds out the different " contradictions " and the different " anxiety " in the world .
