【摘要】：A.S.拜厄特是英國(guó)當(dāng)代著名的小說(shuō)家和評(píng)論家。她因“新維多利亞小說(shuō)”《占有》1990年獲得布克獎(jiǎng)而出名。她在1992年出版的第二部“新維多利亞小說(shuō)”《天使與昆蟲》也獲得了極大的好評(píng)。這本書由《尤金尼亞蝴蝶》與《婚姻天使》兩部中篇小說(shuō)組成。近年來(lái),隨著國(guó)外學(xué)界對(duì)拜厄特作品研究浪潮的興起,其作品也受到國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)者的關(guān)注。目前國(guó)內(nèi)研究成果大都集中在對(duì)其代表作《占有》的分析上,對(duì)《天使與昆蟲》的關(guān)注尚顯不足。這本書中含有大量的符號(hào),然而目前很少有學(xué)者和批評(píng)家從符號(hào)學(xué)的視角對(duì)其進(jìn)行闡釋。總的來(lái)說(shuō),符號(hào)學(xué)是對(duì)符號(hào)的研究。符號(hào)學(xué)一詞出現(xiàn)于古希臘時(shí)期,柏拉圖、亞里士多德、奧古斯丁及洛克等人對(duì)符號(hào)學(xué)的發(fā)展起了不可磨滅的作用。然而直到二十世紀(jì),兩位符號(hào)學(xué)泰斗費(fèi)爾迪南·德·索緒爾及查爾斯·桑德斯·皮爾斯的出現(xiàn)才使符號(hào)學(xué)達(dá)到繁榮。隨之國(guó)內(nèi)外的符號(hào)學(xué)家對(duì)符號(hào)學(xué)作出類而不同的闡釋,通過(guò)定義的變化可以基本把握國(guó)內(nèi)外符號(hào)學(xué)研究的歷史脈絡(luò)。本論文運(yùn)用符號(hào)學(xué)對(duì)《天使與昆蟲》進(jìn)行解讀,旨在引起國(guó)內(nèi)學(xué)者對(duì)此小說(shuō)的關(guān)注,同時(shí)進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)國(guó)內(nèi)對(duì)拜厄特及其作品的研究。全文由引言、三個(gè)章節(jié)和結(jié)論五個(gè)部分組成。引言部分簡(jiǎn)要介紹了A.S.拜厄特的生平,教育背景,文學(xué)創(chuàng)作之路,《天使與昆蟲》的主要內(nèi)容,當(dāng)前國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)此書的研究現(xiàn)狀及借助符號(hào)學(xué)理論來(lái)研究此書的重要意義。第一章詳細(xì)闡釋了符號(hào)學(xué)的淵源與發(fā)展及符號(hào)的定義與分類。這部分是文本分析的理論基礎(chǔ)。此章重點(diǎn)介紹了查爾斯·桑德斯·皮爾斯對(duì)相似符號(hào)與指示符號(hào)的理解,趙毅衡對(duì)符號(hào)文本,自我符號(hào)和潛在符號(hào)的闡述及韋世林對(duì)空符號(hào)的詮釋。第二章詳細(xì)分析了小說(shuō)《尤金尼亞蝴蝶》中主人公的解放之旅。拜厄特重點(diǎn)描繪了威廉·亞當(dāng)森與黑奴們從奴役到解放的過(guò)程。此章首先描繪了尤金妮亞蝴蝶這個(gè)相似符號(hào)是如何展現(xiàn)威廉·亞當(dāng)森被奴役及自我認(rèn)知的;接著闡述了麥蒂·克朗普頓是如何運(yùn)用三個(gè)符號(hào)幫助威廉·亞當(dāng)森擺脫奴役的;最后挖掘了空符號(hào)黑奴貿(mào)易并探索了歷史上黑奴的悲慘遭遇。第三章主要探索了小說(shuō)《婚姻天使》中主人公的認(rèn)知與成長(zhǎng)。拜厄特重點(diǎn)描述了索菲·舍克及艾米麗·杰西的自我認(rèn)知與精神成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程及帕帕蓋船長(zhǎng)對(duì)家的哲思。此章首先介紹了唯靈論的影響、降神會(huì)與靈媒的功能、自我符號(hào)索菲·舍克的認(rèn)知過(guò)程;接著闡明了斯韋登伯格主義及艾米麗·杰西在經(jīng)歷索莫斯比的回憶與自動(dòng)書寫后的感悟;最后講述了空符號(hào)阿圖羅·帕帕蓋船長(zhǎng)十年后對(duì)家在終極意義上的思考。結(jié)論部分指出運(yùn)用符號(hào)學(xué)分析《天使與昆蟲》的重要性及深遠(yuǎn)意義。本論文作者首先指出符號(hào)不僅飽含了拜厄特對(duì)歷史及人類命運(yùn)的深切關(guān)懷,而且強(qiáng)化了這本書中奴役與自由、認(rèn)知與成長(zhǎng)的深刻主題,接著指出符號(hào)不僅詮釋了《尤金尼亞蝴蝶》與《婚姻天使》在結(jié)構(gòu)上的平衡性及內(nèi)在的統(tǒng)一性,而且闡明了《天使與昆蟲》的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
[Abstract]:A.S. Byatt is a famous contemporary British novelist and critic. She has won the Booker Prize >1990 famous for the "new Vitoria". But until twentieth Century, two semiotic Charlie Ferdinand de Saussure and Charles Sanders Pierce to make semiotics attain prosperity. Then Semiologist at home and abroad of semiotics and make different interpretations, through the definition of change can be basic grasp at home and abroad the symbol history research. This thesis utilizes semiotics of < Angel interpretation and insect ", aims to arouse the attention of domestic scholars about this novel, and further promote the domestic research on Byatt and his works. This thesis consists of preface, five parts, three chapters and a conclusion. The introduction part gives a brief introduction of A.S. Byatt's life, education background, the road of literature, the main content of < > of angels and insects, the present study on the domestic and abroad The status and significance of the symbolic theory to study this book. The first chapter expounds the definition and classification of origin and development and symbolic semiotics. This part is the theoretical basis of text analysis. This chapter focuses on Charles Sanders Pearce for a similar symbol and symbol refers to the understanding of the text describes the Zhao Yiheng symbol, Wei Shilin and self symbol and potential symbol interpretation of the empty symbol. The second chapter detailed analysis of the novel "the hero of Eugenia butterfly > liberation tour. Byatt depicts William Adamson and the key to the liberation of the slaves from slavery.
