【摘要】：20世紀(jì)50—70年代的美國華文文學(xué),是第一批以西方城市為書寫背景或表現(xiàn)對(duì)象的華文文學(xué),其中的西方城市往往以負(fù)面形象出現(xiàn),并且充滿華人移民對(duì)西方城市的消極體驗(yàn),這與80年代以后中國的城市文學(xué)形成微妙的呼應(yīng),但是與后者不同的是,城市與鄉(xiāng)村的二元敘事被消解,代之以美國與中國的二元對(duì)立,美國城市成為華文作家民族性與西方城市現(xiàn)代性斗爭(zhēng)和博弈的場(chǎng)所,其結(jié)果是,華文作家以強(qiáng)大的民族性對(duì)西方城市現(xiàn)代性進(jìn)行了擠壓和驅(qū)逐,致使其文學(xué)書寫中對(duì)西方現(xiàn)代性的集體去魅。
[Abstract]:In 20th century, the American Chinese literature in the 1950s and 1970s was the first group of Chinese literature written in the background or performance of western cities, in which western cities often appeared in a negative image. And full of the negative experience of Chinese immigrants to the western cities, which formed a subtle echo with the Chinese urban literature after 80s, but different from the latter, the dual narration between the city and the countryside was dispelled. Instead of the dualistic opposition between the United States and China, American cities have become a place for Chinese writers to struggle and play with the modernity of Western cities, and the results are as follows. Chinese writers have squeezed and expelled the modernity of western cities with their strong nationality, which led to the collective disenchantment of western modernity in their literary writing.
