【摘要】：《馬可·波羅行紀(jì)》中的東方印象書寫存在著敬仰與焦慮雜糅的復(fù)雜情緒。這種復(fù)雜的東方印象,始于蒙元時(shí)期西方人對(duì)三次蒙元西征的直觀感受。三次蒙元西征使西方人形成了對(duì)東方的恐懼印象,而蒙元帝國(guó)的建立又與西方集體記憶中的"賽里斯"神話與救世主信仰相嵌合,這帶動(dòng)了恐懼印象向敬仰情緒的轉(zhuǎn)變。西方對(duì)東方的敬仰日益成為主流,但在敬仰的主流印象中恐懼傳統(tǒng)卻并未完全消失。在《馬可·波羅行紀(jì)》前后的西人東方游記中,恐懼與敬仰的交織構(gòu)成了西人東方印象的主調(diào)。
[Abstract]:The oriental impressions written in Marco Polo are complicated by a mixture of admiration and anxiety. This complex oriental impression. Since the period of the Mongolian and Yuan dynasties, the westerners began to feel directly about the three western expeditions of the Mongolia-Yuan and Yuan, which made the westerners form the impression of fear to the East. However, the establishment of the Mongol and Yuan empires coincided with the myth of "Cyrus" and the belief of savior in the collective memory of the West, which led to the change from the impression of fear to the mood of admiration, and the respect of the West for the East became the mainstream day by day. But the tradition of fear has not completely disappeared in the mainstream of admiration. In travels to the East of the West around Marco Polo, the interweaving of fear and respect constitutes the dominant tone of the Western impression of the East.
