英漢海事新聞語篇主位推進模式對比研究

隨著航運業(yè)的高速發(fā)展和海上事件的頻發(fā),與海事有關的新聞正在越來越多的進入人們的視線。隨著人們外語水平的提高和獲得海事新聞的途徑日益多樣,人們已經(jīng)可以自由選擇閱讀漢語或者其他語言的(主要是英語)的海事新聞報道。但是,由于海事英語和海事知識本身的專業(yè)性和特殊性,以及英漢語言系統(tǒng)的不同,這就給與海事有關的新聞語篇的閱讀和理解帶來了很大的困難。 主位推進模式是分析語篇的重要手段之一。主位的推進把主位結構和語篇連貫結合起來,揭示主述位在語篇中的動態(tài)分布以及語篇的組織方式。本文采用對比的研究方法對英漢海事新聞語篇進行了分析,旨在揭示:英漢海事新聞語篇使用的主位推進模式的異同之處。 為了進行這一研究,本文從2009年1月至2010年10月出版的著名的報刊雜志:《紐約時報》,《時代周刊》以及《新聞周刊》(英文版);《中國日報》,《人民日報》以及《光明日報》(中文版)的海事新聞中各隨機抽取20篇,英漢各60篇(共計120篇)作為作為語料,分別建立英語海事新聞語料庫(EMN)和漢語海事新聞語料庫(CMN),以Halliday的系統(tǒng)功能語法中小句層面的主述位切分和布拉格學派Erantisek Dane...
