翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論視角下的世博會(huì)公示語(yǔ)翻譯

  隨著社會(huì)的發(fā)展和國(guó)際化程度的提高,公示語(yǔ)在實(shí)際生活中的運(yùn)用已經(jīng)引起越來越多的關(guān)注。公示語(yǔ)譯語(yǔ)的準(zhǔn)確性在很大程度上體現(xiàn)了一個(gè)國(guó)家對(duì)外交流的水平和人文環(huán)境的建設(shè)力度。然而,公示語(yǔ)的種種誤譯還遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不能夠讓公眾滿意。這些誤譯不但未給外國(guó)友人提供方便,而且還起到了誤導(dǎo)了作用。因此,了解公示語(yǔ)及其翻譯,提高公示語(yǔ)譯語(yǔ)的可讀性和接受度便成了當(dāng)務(wù)之急。 本文在翻譯適應(yīng)選擇論的指導(dǎo)下,研究上海世博會(huì)和昆明世博會(huì)公示語(yǔ)的翻譯,旨在闡述世博會(huì)公示語(yǔ)翻譯過程中所作出的適應(yīng)與選擇,以及兩者之間的內(nèi)在關(guān)系。論文采用對(duì)比分析的研究方法來探討漢英公示語(yǔ)的異同;同時(shí),采用描述的方法闡述世博會(huì)公示語(yǔ)翻譯過程中所作出的適應(yīng)與選擇。所搜集的公示語(yǔ)圖片資料大部分來自上海世博會(huì)和昆明世博會(huì)會(huì)場(chǎng),也有上海和昆明市區(qū)的公園、超市等公共場(chǎng)所的公示語(yǔ)圖片,共計(jì)500多張。同時(shí),還搜集了100多張來自張家界和長(zhǎng)沙等旅游地區(qū)的公示語(yǔ)圖片以供對(duì)比參照。 世博會(huì)公示語(yǔ)是公示語(yǔ)翻譯領(lǐng)域中的最新研究題材。論文第三章把世博會(huì)公示語(yǔ)分為八大類,并逐一進(jìn)行定義分析,為公示語(yǔ)的研究提供了參考,有利于今后對(duì)公示語(yǔ)翻譯的研究。 論文第五、六章將前期采集的世博會(huì)...
