對(duì)于政治文本中的認(rèn)知隱喻扮演的角色的研究無(wú)疑是十分重要的,因?yàn)檫@些隱喻是控制人們觀點(diǎn)并進(jìn)而影響政治發(fā)展的強(qiáng)有力工具。更重要的是隨著中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的飛速發(fā)展及其在國(guó)際社會(huì)中高度開(kāi)放的姿態(tài)使其在當(dāng)今世界政治中地位與日俱增。盡管美國(guó)在當(dāng)今國(guó)際政治中占主導(dǎo)地位并具有強(qiáng)大的影響力,然而很少有人研究美國(guó)政論文章中有關(guān)中國(guó)的隱喻意象。因此本文綜合分析了美國(guó)媒體中政論性篇章里關(guān)于中國(guó)的隱喻意象,以便理解美國(guó)是如何感知中國(guó),并揭露美國(guó)媒體想讓其受眾對(duì)中國(guó)形成一種什么樣的態(tài)度。為了達(dá)到這一研究目的,本文采用了由俄國(guó)語(yǔ)言學(xué)家A.P.Chudinov提出的隱喻模型法,這一方法一方面對(duì)西方的傳統(tǒng)研究方法進(jìn)行了革新,另一方面滿足了所有的研究目標(biāo)。 本文主要觀點(diǎn)如下：通過(guò)研究發(fā)現(xiàn),由于民族和歷史特性,美國(guó)人更熱衷于將運(yùn)動(dòng)和戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)等概念來(lái)比喻政治事件。因此中國(guó)的意象經(jīng)常被比作與競(jìng)爭(zhēng)有關(guān)的術(shù)語(yǔ)。然而研究也發(fā)現(xiàn)在美國(guó)政論性文章中中國(guó)也被看做是擁有強(qiáng)大力量的實(shí)體能夠在經(jīng)濟(jì)衰退的時(shí)候幫助世界度過(guò)難關(guān)。除此之外,根據(jù)對(duì)數(shù)據(jù)的統(tǒng)計(jì)分析,對(duì)于中國(guó)形成的概念隱喻的表達(dá)有65.7%具有正面的語(yǔ)義,只有24.1%具有負(fù)面語(yǔ)義。 本文的主要結(jié)論是...
