漢英拒絕言語行為對比研究

在人際交往中,拒絕言語行為是一種普遍而敏感的言語行為,其威脅到請求者的正面面子,與社會所提倡的和諧禮讓不相符,因此在本質(zhì)上是不禮貌的。在不同的社會、文化背景下,由于世界觀、價值觀、民族傳統(tǒng)、歷史和地理環(huán)境等差異,對拒絕言語行為有著不同的社會規(guī)范和語用準則,對二語學(xué)習者來說是一個難點,也是英語教學(xué)的一個重點。 本文在言語行為理論,中西方的禮貌原則和Kim的談話制約理論的指導(dǎo)下,就以下兩個問題進行了研究:(1)漢英拒絕策略在請求、邀請、建議和提供四種情景中的運用有何異同點?哪些因素造成了這些異同點?(2)男性和女性在漢英拒絕言語行為中有哪些異同點?本文采用通過定性和定量的研究方法,DCT測試和真實情景記錄的研究手段,得出以下兩組結(jié)論:第一,從總體上講。(1)漢英受試者使用間接拒絕策略均多于使用直接拒絕策略,其中使用較多的間接策略是“理由”、“表面同意,實則拒絕”、“遺憾”和“批判”策略。(2)英語受試者使用的直接拒絕策略多于漢語受試者。(3)漢語受試者拒絕策略的使用和語言表達方面比英語受試者更委婉、模糊,遵循點到為止的原則。第二,在性別因素方面。(1)漢英受試者中,男性和女性使用的間接拒絕...
