模糊限制語源于1972年,是繼美國查德教授提出著名的模糊理論之后由拉克夫提出的。它是模糊語言家族的重要成員,是語言交際中的普遍現(xiàn)象,在交際中起著非常重要的作用。本文主要從語用學的角度研究英語中模糊限制語在言語交際中的功能。文中作者結合國內外相關研究現(xiàn)狀,從語用角度對模糊限制語的含義、分類及其研究現(xiàn)狀作了探討。 首先,作者運用語用原則中的“合作原則”,“禮貌原則”,“面子威脅理論”及“會話含義”,結合具體實例對模糊限制語在言語交際中的使用進行了整體上的理論分析,得出模糊限制語的一般功能。其次,作者結合具體的語境對兩個語料庫--新聞與商務談判中的模糊限制語的出現(xiàn)數(shù)量、分布狀況做出了統(tǒng)計,進而分析在這兩種語境中模糊限制語體現(xiàn)出的不同的功能及其產生差異的原因。通過分析可以發(fā)現(xiàn)模糊限制語的功能在不同的語境中有不同的體現(xiàn),這說明模糊限制語與其出現(xiàn)的語境有著密切的聯(lián)系。在一定的語境中恰當?shù)剡\用一些模糊限制語能夠幫助人們成功地進行交際從而實現(xiàn)交際目的。 最后作者總結了本文的研究成果并指出本文的研究對外語教學有著深刻的指導意義,在外語教學中恰當?shù)剡\用一些模糊限制語不但能進一步提高外語教學水平,而且能增強...
