委婉語(yǔ)是一種普遍的語(yǔ)言現(xiàn)象。簡(jiǎn)明牛津字典第七版將委婉語(yǔ)解釋為：“用一種不明說(shuō)的,能使人感到愉快或含糊的說(shuō)法代替具有令人感到不悅的含義或不夠尊敬的表達(dá)法�！弊詮挠辛苏Z(yǔ)言,委婉語(yǔ)就成為人類社會(huì)的一個(gè)重要話題。作為一個(gè)工具,委婉語(yǔ)使人類的語(yǔ)言變得更加有魅力,它是人類交際的潤(rùn)滑劑,使人的交際在任何場(chǎng)合和背景下都能夠順暢友好地進(jìn)行下去。如果沒(méi)有委婉語(yǔ),交際就很可能尷尬地終止。研究人員已經(jīng)從不同角度對(duì)委婉語(yǔ)進(jìn)行了研究。但是外交委婉語(yǔ)卻很少被系統(tǒng)地提及。這些研究中的不足給了作者從語(yǔ)用學(xué)角度進(jìn)行嘗試性探討的余地。以合作原則與禮貌原則作為理論基礎(chǔ),通過(guò)對(duì)四篇外交新聞發(fā)布會(huì)文稿的分析,作者對(duì)外交委婉語(yǔ)做了細(xì)致的研究。通過(guò)探討合作原則、禮貌原則、外交語(yǔ)言的特點(diǎn),以及通過(guò)對(duì)外交委婉語(yǔ)的注解,作者驗(yàn)證了外交委婉語(yǔ)對(duì)合作原則的準(zhǔn)則的違背,并闡釋了外交委婉語(yǔ)是如何遵循禮貌原則的。包含結(jié)論部分,該論文共分為六章,對(duì)外交委婉語(yǔ)與合作原則禮貌原則的關(guān)系做了詳細(xì)探討。前兩章仔細(xì)介紹了有關(guān)委婉語(yǔ)和外交語(yǔ)言的基本知識(shí),合作原則及禮貌原則,該部分是文本分析的理論基礎(chǔ)。第三章是對(duì)該論文研究方法論的介紹。第四章和第五章是綜合的文本分...
