從德國(guó)功能翻譯理論探析電影字幕翻譯

  隨著全球化進(jìn)程的不斷加速,世界上各個(gè)國(guó)家間政治,經(jīng)濟(jì),文化等多方面的交流日趨頻繁。其中,文化交流的深入在當(dāng)代越發(fā)突顯出重要性。作為一門有形有聲、形聲結(jié)合的藝術(shù)綜合體以及現(xiàn)代文化傳媒的重要載體,影視作品在傳遞和加深國(guó)與國(guó)之間的文化交流上發(fā)揮了不可忽略的作用。由于語(yǔ)言障礙的存在,影視字幕翻譯在傳遞異國(guó)文化民族風(fēng)情方面起到了舉足輕重的橋梁作用。近幾十年來(lái),影視翻譯也日趨成為翻譯界新興的翻譯活動(dòng),引起越來(lái)越多專家和學(xué)者的重視。作為文學(xué)翻譯領(lǐng)域的一種特殊翻譯活動(dòng),影視翻譯實(shí)踐迄今尚未形成一套完整的指導(dǎo)理論。字幕翻譯不同于一般的文學(xué)翻譯,具有瞬時(shí)性、時(shí)空限制性、簡(jiǎn)潔性和不可逆轉(zhuǎn)性等特點(diǎn)。它受到時(shí)間、空間、畫面、觀眾期待與反應(yīng)以及譯者本身翻譯水平等諸多主觀客觀因素的制約。字幕翻譯在傳遞信息為主要原則的指導(dǎo)下,還要有機(jī)地配合影視作品特有的畫面切換和各種音響效果,使觀眾能夠跨越語(yǔ)言或者文化障礙,從而順利地理解和欣賞外國(guó)影視作品。用準(zhǔn)確生動(dòng)的語(yǔ)言再現(xiàn)原片的思想性和藝術(shù)性,輔助異語(yǔ)觀眾以最小的努力獲得最完美的欣賞效果,是影視翻譯人員面臨的挑戰(zhàn)和影視翻譯的最終目的。德國(guó)功能翻譯理論自20世紀(jì)70年代誕生以來(lái),...
