隱喻研究既古老又新興。古老是因為我們對這個問題的探索已有2000多年的研究歷史;說它新興,因為隱喻幾經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)型:修辭學(xué)---語義學(xué)---認(rèn)知隱喻---隱喻多學(xué)科研究,已從最初的傳統(tǒng)修辭層面走向當(dāng)代認(rèn)知語言學(xué)研究,已從過去被當(dāng)作一種語言的偏離現(xiàn)象到認(rèn)知語言學(xué)研究的顯學(xué)。當(dāng)今,隱喻已不僅僅是一種語言現(xiàn)象,它更是人類認(rèn)識自身和感知客觀世界的一種認(rèn)知能力,一種思維方式。近三十年來認(rèn)知語言學(xué)對隱喻的研究已在多個方面取得進(jìn)展,集中體現(xiàn)在詞匯、短語和句子層面。而相比詞語和句子層面更大的單位-----語篇層面,隱喻研究則有所忽視和呈現(xiàn)出明顯的不足。意義的構(gòu)建在很大程度上歸屬于語篇。隱喻作為一種思維方式和認(rèn)知工具,從理論與實踐上可以體現(xiàn)在語言的各個層面,不僅是個別單詞、短語、句子,還可以在語篇層面上延伸和擴(kuò)展。語篇層面上的隱喻研究,突破了傳統(tǒng)隱喻研究把注意力集中在詞匯、短語、句子層面上的限制,把隱喻看作是一種強(qiáng)有力的認(rèn)知工具與語篇構(gòu)建組織的策略,在更為廣闊的語言環(huán)境中尋求隱喻意義的生成機(jī)制,以語篇隱喻為窗口探索人類語言的功能。詩歌作為一種特殊的文學(xué)樣式,與隱喻有著密切的聯(lián)系。隱喻是詩歌的生命原則和組織材料,...
