譯者既是翻譯活動的主體,也是翻譯研究的主體,但目前譯者的地位仍普遍偏低。雖然最近三十年來翻譯理論研究發(fā)展迅速,但對特定翻譯家的翻譯思想?yún)s少有系統(tǒng)深入的研究。對特定翻譯家的翻譯思想進行系統(tǒng)深入地研究是當前進行翻譯理論研究一個新的切入點。不斷累積各翻譯名家具有真知灼見的翻譯思想有利于翻譯理論這座宏偉大廈的早日落成和完善。蕭乾是中國現(xiàn)代著名翻譯家、作家、記者。雖然蕭乾認為自己“并非職業(yè)翻譯家”,常自謙為翻譯領域的“游擊戰(zhàn)士”,“半外行”,但是他在翻譯方面所取得的成就卻是令世人所矚目的,其中最具代表性的就是他和文潔若合譯的《尤利西斯》。目前對蕭乾的研究過分偏重于文學研究領域,對他翻譯的研究也集中在對其個別翻譯作品的分析上,少有人全面總結他的翻譯思想。本文認為蕭乾是一位一流的翻譯家,對翻譯有著獨特的看法,其在翻譯方面取得的成就證明其翻譯思想極具價值。本文以蕭乾有關翻譯的言論及其翻譯實踐為研究對象,以他的文集、回憶錄、信件、譯作集以及其它有關蕭乾翻譯的研究和評論為研究材料,認真細致地分析梳理其翻譯思想并進行系統(tǒng)地總結。本文發(fā)現(xiàn)蕭乾的文學翻譯觀系統(tǒng)全面,他的翻譯思想不僅涵蓋了對翻譯整個過程的思考,也...
