在當今的眾多研究理論中,關聯(lián)理論與翻譯有著密切的相關性和很好的契合性。它雖然不是翻譯理論,也非為翻譯理論所設計,但卻可以有效的解釋翻譯現(xiàn)象并指導翻譯實踐。關聯(lián)理論提供的認知關聯(lián)機制,在宏觀上作用于超語篇層,涉及語篇外的種種因素;在微觀上它深入到詞的理據(jù)層。鑒于翻譯的動態(tài)性和關聯(lián)理論的認知推理機制,關聯(lián)理論無疑是翻譯學諸供體多學科中的優(yōu)選項,而且可以幫助我們奠定翻譯本體論和方法論的基礎。翻譯,曾被譽為是宇宙進化史上最復雜的事。翻譯現(xiàn)象的復雜性讓我們難以看清“翻譯”的真相,難免讓人懷疑它的存在,而研究成果的豐富性卻又說明了人們對它的探索沒有停止。對翻譯學的研究的總趨勢,其范圍是越來越寬泛,論題越來越散——從“多學科”的界面研究已擴展到“無學科”的境界。在此情形下,翻譯學歸結(jié)論對其進行反向假設,進行反向論證,試圖找出“翻譯學”之所以為“學”的根據(jù)。所謂歸結(jié),就是將錯綜復雜的現(xiàn)象歸結(jié)為核心的、本質(zhì)的東西,并以此找到翻譯的基本規(guī)律和把握其內(nèi)在屬性。因此本文擬從關聯(lián)理論的角度分析翻譯學歸結(jié)論,以論證兩者的兼容性,并成為翻譯學歸結(jié)論貫穿始終的應用原則。
