翻譯不是發(fā)生在真空中一個價值中立的機械轉換過程,而是一個“改寫”和“操控”的過程,是不同文化之間一方對另一方實施權利和暴力的不平等、不平衡、不對稱的交往過程。這種認識是在描寫翻譯學呼吁停止對翻譯現(xiàn)象進行價值評判而開始對翻譯現(xiàn)象進行客觀描寫的二十世紀七、八十年代取得的,至今已基本形成共識。但翻譯研究不能止步于此,還必須繼續(xù)追問:面對這種情況,我們該怎么辦、怎么譯?是把存在的看成合理的,還是去追求一個更高的道德理想?到底什么是跨文化交往的合理模式?對這些問題的回答,更能體現(xiàn)翻譯研究的價值�；谶@一判斷,本文將從格爾茲闡釋人類學的視角,對上述問題進行如下幾個方面的研究:首先,本文探討了格爾茲闡釋人類學的理論淵源及其方法論思想。格爾茲闡釋人類學有其深刻的理論淵源,20世紀60年代經(jīng)歷了一場很大的人類學危機,從而在西方人類學界誕生了如格爾茲這樣的人類學大師及其代表的闡釋人類學學派。格爾茲通過文化持有者的內部眼界,運用深度描寫這個手段,抓住地方性知識這個認識角度來闡釋人類學。其中,文化持有者內部眼界,深度描寫和地方性知識就是他在闡釋人類學時最重要的三個方法。其次,本文論述了翻譯中的操控性。正是因為...
