詞義是語言中變化最明顯、最頻繁的因素,語言學(xué)家認(rèn)為每個詞義都構(gòu)成了典型與邊緣之間的連續(xù)體,因而會導(dǎo)致詞義的含混與模糊,所以一詞多義現(xiàn)象一直以來都是傳統(tǒng)語義學(xué)的研究熱點(diǎn)。詞匯語用學(xué)產(chǎn)生以后,對一詞多義現(xiàn)象的研究被納入到了語用研究的范疇。在詞匯語用學(xué)的框架下,格萊斯的話語隱含理論,Rosch的原型理論以及Sperber & Wilson的關(guān)聯(lián)理論都被廣泛應(yīng)用到一詞多義這一語言現(xiàn)象的研究中。但是這些研究對于一詞多義的釋義研究缺乏動態(tài)性和解釋力,無法從根本上把握詞義在釋義過程中嬗變的根本原因。由于語言具有變異性、商討性和順應(yīng)性,Verschueren于1999年提出了具有動態(tài)思想和強(qiáng)大解釋力的順應(yīng)理論。順應(yīng)理論認(rèn)為語言的使用是語言使用者有意識或無意識地不斷做出選擇的過程,語言一旦被使用,詞義的選擇必然就會發(fā)生。而一詞多義現(xiàn)象正是語言選擇不可避免的結(jié)果,是心理、社交和文化世界順應(yīng)的必然結(jié)果。本文在詞匯語用學(xué)的框架下,運(yùn)用順應(yīng)理論試圖建立一種選擇順應(yīng)理論模式,來探討一詞多義的語用釋義問題,動態(tài)識解詞義變化,達(dá)到對一詞多義現(xiàn)象的深層研究。動態(tài)順應(yīng)理論模式對一詞多義的語用釋義問題具有強(qiáng)大解釋力...
