錢鐘書視域中的翻譯之名和譯品之實

【摘要】:錢鐘書認為"翻"即"翻轉花毯","譯"即"誤解作者、誤告讀者"。他的"化境"說,并非學界一貫以為的要求譯本達到"至幽至雅""至高無上"的醇美境界。"化境"有兩層含義:一、"化"通"y-"通"訛",誤解誤告是譯本常態(tài),即失本成譯;二、理想的譯作應是"忠實得以至于讀起來不像譯本"的流暢通達的好文章,要求原作者假借譯者之口用譯入語說話、遵守譯入語的"文章正軌"。錢鐘書翻譯思想的文章學思路,與嚴復"信達雅"說一脈相承,并與西方"文化轉向"之后的當代譯論殊途同歸。是否恪守"忠實"標準是區(qū)分傳統(tǒng)譯論和現(xiàn)代譯論的重要標志,由此來看,錢鐘書的翻譯思想具有現(xiàn)代意識。
[Abstract]:Qian Zhongshu thinks "flip" means "flip the blanket" and "translate" means "misunderstand the author and misinform the reader." His theory of "the state of the world" is not always used by the academic circles to achieve the ideal state of "to the utmost" and "supreme". It has two meanings: first, "Hua" Tong y- "Tong", "misunderstanding and false accusation" is the normal rule of the translation, that is, the original translation is lost; second, the ideal translation should be a good article which is "faithful so that it does not read like the translation". The original author is required to use the translator's words in the target language and follow the "right track" of the target language. Qian Zhongshu's literary thinking of translation thought is in the same vein with Yan Fu's theory of "Cinda elegance", and it is different from the contemporary translation theory after the western "cultural turn". Whether to abide by the criterion of "faithfulness" is an important sign to distinguish traditional translation theory from modern translation theory. From this point of view, Qian Zhongshu's translation thought has a modern consciousness.
