不同范疇層次間跨語言語義啟動效應(yīng)實驗研究

【摘要】:雙語加工及表征方式是心理語言學家熱議的話題,其中包括了許多對跨語言語義啟動效應(yīng)的研究。本文從不同語義范疇層次的角度對跨語言語義啟動效應(yīng)進行實驗分析,并選取形態(tài)迥異的漢英雙語作為研究對象,而目前幾乎沒有相關(guān)的實驗研究及結(jié)果。本實驗選取英語專業(yè)大一和大三學生共60名,采用漢英與英漢兩種啟動范式,探討被試在不同范疇層次下的真假詞匯判斷,觀察是否會產(chǎn)生跨語言語義啟動效應(yīng),從而進一步探討漢英雙語者的概念性詞匯加工機制及表征方式。本研究共涉及兩個實驗。實驗一采用英語水平(高、低)與范式(英語、漢語)兩因素混合設(shè)計,作為此研究的對照組,對實驗組的數(shù)據(jù)起到對照作用;實驗二采用英語水平(高、低)、啟動范式(漢-英、英-漢)與語義范疇層次(相同、不同)三因素混合設(shè)計,作為此研究的實驗組,考察在相同或不同語義范疇層次下是否會產(chǎn)生跨語言語義啟動效應(yīng),并對被試的雙語詞匯加工機制及表征方式作出結(jié)論。通過實驗研究,得出以下結(jié)論:(1)高、低英語水平者在存在啟動詞下的反應(yīng)時和錯誤率都顯著低于沒有啟動詞的反應(yīng)時和錯誤率。此結(jié)果證明了跨語言語義啟動效應(yīng)的存在。(2)高、低英語水平者在同范式同語義范疇層次下的反應(yīng)時及錯誤率都顯著低于不同范疇層次的反應(yīng)時及錯誤率。此結(jié)果證明了相同的語義范疇層次會對概念性詞匯的識別起到促進作用。(3)高英語水平組被試的反應(yīng)時及錯誤率都顯著低于低水平組的反應(yīng)時及錯誤率。此結(jié)果說明了英語水平不同會對概念性詞匯的判斷產(chǎn)生重要影響。(4)不同英語水平的被試,在英漢啟動范式下的反應(yīng)時及錯誤率并沒有低于漢英啟動范式下的反應(yīng)時及錯誤率,甚至出現(xiàn)與預期相反的情況。此結(jié)果表明作為母語的漢語并沒有促進概念性詞匯的通達;語義啟動的非對稱現(xiàn)象對此實驗的被試影響甚微,表明該階段的雙語者詞匯通達水平已處于概念中介模型階段。本研究得出的結(jié)論是:漢英雙語者對于概念性詞匯判斷任務(wù)存在顯著的跨語言語義啟動效應(yīng),并且相同語義范疇層次的啟動效果好于不同語義范疇層次的啟動效果。由此說明雙語者存在共享的詞匯表征。
[Abstract]:Bilingual processing and characterization is a hot topic for psycholinguists. It includes many studies on the semantic priming effect of cross language. This paper makes an experimental analysis on the starting effect of cross language semantics from different semantic category levels, and selects Chinese English double language with different forms as the research object, and there is almost no correlation at present. In this experiment, 60 English majors and junior students were selected, and the two starting paradigms of English and Chinese were used to explore the true and false words of the subjects at different levels, and to observe whether the semantic priming effect of cross language would be produced, so as to further explore the conceptual vocabulary processing mechanism of Chinese and English bilinguals. A total of two experiments were involved in this study. Experiment 1 used a mixed design of two factors in English level (high, low) and paradigm (English, Chinese). As the control group of this study, the experimental group had a control effect on the data of the experimental group; the experiment two adopted the English level (high, low), the starting paradigm (Han English, English Han) and the semantic category level (the same, different) three. The factor mixing design, as the experimental group, examines whether the semantic priming effect occurs at the same or different semantic categories, and makes a conclusion on the processing mechanism and characterization of the bilingual vocabulary. Through the experimental study, the following conclusions are drawn: (1) the high, low English level in the presence of the start word response. And the error rate is significantly lower than the response time and error rate without the start word. This results prove the existence of the cross language semantic priming effect. (2) the response and error rate of the high, low English level in the same paradigm and the semantic category are significantly lower than the response and error rate at different categories. The results prove the same semantics. Category level could promote the recognition of conceptual vocabulary. (3) the response time and error rate of the subjects in the high English level group were significantly lower than the response time and error rate of the low level group. The results showed that the difference in English level would have an important influence on the judgment of conceptual vocabulary. (4) the subjects of different English proficiency tested in English and Chinese The reaction time and error rate under the formula are not lower than the reaction time and error rate under the Chinese English startup paradigm, and even the contrary to the expectation. The results show that the Chinese language as a native language does not promote the accessibility of conceptual vocabulary; the asymmetric phenomenon of semantic priming has little influence on the experiment, indicating the bilingual word in this stage. The conclusion of this study is that Chinese and English bilinguals have significant cross language semantic priming effects on conceptual vocabulary judgment tasks, and the same semantic category level has better effect on the starting effect of different semantic category levels. Thus, it shows that bilinguals have shared words. Remittance.
