中英文酒店介紹的對比修辭研究

【摘要】:對比修辭在過去50年一直是語言學(xué)研究的重要問題。許多學(xué)者對不同體裁的語料進(jìn)行對比修辭分析,但對酒店介紹這一體裁的研究較少。此外,許多學(xué)者提出以動態(tài)的眼光看待修辭和文化,但是少有研究提供相關(guān)證據(jù)。因此,本研究將中英酒店介紹進(jìn)行比較,旨在找出它們的異同之處,并探討造成這些異同的原因。在此基礎(chǔ)上,驗證修辭和文化的動態(tài)觀。在正式研究之前先進(jìn)行了初步探究,搜集了中英文酒店介紹各30篇,經(jīng)過分析后發(fā)現(xiàn),指稱、形容詞、句子類型、結(jié)構(gòu)和內(nèi)容等方面有可比性。為了獲得更令人信服的結(jié)論,研究對語料進(jìn)行了擴(kuò)展,采用便利抽樣和目的抽樣的方式搜集了中英文酒店介紹各60篇。所有的文本都是從酒店的官方網(wǎng)站獲得。語料搜集完成后,研究對其中的修辭特征進(jìn)行了統(tǒng)計,以進(jìn)行定量和定性分析,找出異同之處;诖,結(jié)合相關(guān)研究和理論對造成異同的原因進(jìn)行解釋,同時觀察在文化或修辭方面是否存在變化或變異。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),中英文酒店介紹在修辭方面存在諸多異同之處。首先,在指稱方面,中文酒店介紹常使用第三人稱,而英文酒店介紹更頻繁地使用第一和第二人稱。英文酒店介紹也更常使用“第一人稱+第三人稱”的復(fù)合人稱以及酒店名。其次,在中文酒店介紹中,評價性形容詞多于描述性形容詞,而在英文酒店介紹中,描述性形容詞多于評價性形容詞。再次,在句子類型方面,中英文酒店介紹均以陳述句為主,不同之處在于英文酒店介紹比中文酒店介紹更加頻繁地使用疑問句和祈使句。此外,中英文介紹在結(jié)構(gòu)上相似。最后,在內(nèi)容上,中文酒店介紹側(cè)重于酒店的“硬件”,而英文酒店介紹顯得更人文化。結(jié)合相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)和理論,研究探討了造成這些異同的原因,包括距離、主觀性/客觀性、思維模式、語言本身的特征和功能等。此外,研究還發(fā)現(xiàn)修辭和文化方面存在變化或者變異。例如,中英文酒店介紹的結(jié)構(gòu)相似;英文酒店介紹更傾向于使用情感訴求,與前人所總結(jié)的“英美人重邏輯”思維特點相悖。研究為酒店介紹寫作提供了啟示。但需要注意的是,修辭不是一層不變的,它的選擇需要考慮讀者、語境等諸多因素。
[Abstract]:Contrastive rhetoric is an important issue in linguistic studies in the past 50 years. Many scholars contrastive rhetoric analysis of different genres of discourse, but the hotel introduced this genre research less. In addition, many scholars put forward the view of rhetoric and culture on the dynamic perspective, but few studies provide relevant evidence. Therefore, this study will the hotel is compared, in order to find out their similarities and differences, and to explore the reasons for these differences. On this basis, verification of dynamic rhetoric and cultural values. In the formal study before the preliminary inquiry, collected in the English Hotel and the 30, after analysis found that adjectives. Sentence types, structure and contents are comparable. In order to get a more convincing conclusion, the research on extension of the corpus, using convenience sampling and purposive sampling method to collect the English The hotel introduced 60 articles. All the text is obtained from the hotel's official website. After the completion of data collection, the research analyzes the rhetorical features of them, to make a quantitative and qualitative analysis, to find out the similarities and differences. Based on this, combined with the causes of the similarities and differences of interpretation of the relevant research and theory, and observe whether there change or variation in culture or rhetoric. The study found that in the English hotel has many similarities and differences in the rhetoric aspect. First of all, in reference, Chinese hotel often use third person, and English hotel more frequent use of first and second person. English hotel more often use the "first person + third person" the compound person and hotel name. Secondly, in the Chinese hotel introduction, evaluative adjectives rather than descriptive adjectives, and in the English Hotel, descriptive adjective more than The evaluation of adjectives. Again, in the sentence type, in the English hotel are based on the statement, the difference is English hotel than Chinese hotel more frequent use of interrogative and imperative sentences. In addition, in the English are similar in structure. Finally, in the content, focus on Chinese hotel hotel the "hardware", and English hotel is more human culture. Combined with the relevant literature and theory research, discusses the reasons causing these differences, including the distance, subjectivity / objectivity, mode of thinking, characteristics and function of the language itself can. In addition, the study also found that there are changes or variations in rhetoric and culture.
