通感現(xiàn)象源自于人的各種感知覺的相互連通。傳統(tǒng)上通感被視為一種修飾技巧,用于詩歌等文學(xué)作品中；隨著認(rèn)知科學(xué)的發(fā)展,通感被證實(shí)為一種認(rèn)知現(xiàn)象,成為人類感知、認(rèn)識客觀世界的一種重要的認(rèn)知方式。根據(jù)人類已有的身體知識表明,人體感覺是一個(gè)復(fù)雜而具有整體性的系統(tǒng),視、聽、嗅、味、觸五種感覺雖各司其職,并不是完全割裂的,而是彼此相通、互相影響的。在這五種感覺中,視覺是我們用來觀察外界事物最重要的感覺,因此它也被稱作是人們獲取客觀世界信息的主要來源。然而,在日常的英語和漢語的語言現(xiàn)象中,有許多原來是對于視覺范疇描述的詞匯,隨著詞義的引申和發(fā)展,帶有表示非視覺范疇的隱喻義。在本文中這些隱喻義被稱為視覺隱喻,這些隱喻義大部分都是表示抽象的概念,例如思維、情感、智力等等。 本文從實(shí)際的英漢語料出發(fā),依據(jù)前人研究的相關(guān)隱喻理論成果,試圖構(gòu)建出理論框架“隱喻結(jié)構(gòu)圖”。基于該理論框架,以通感現(xiàn)象為認(rèn)知背景,探討“通感”的發(fā)生機(jī)制問題；并從視覺器官、視覺物理?xiàng)l件(光線)、視覺活動(dòng)等不同的角度,對英漢視覺隱喻進(jìn)行分類；對比英漢兩種語言視覺隱喻所存在的共性和異性,試探產(chǎn)生共性和異性的原因。 研究結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn),第一,“通感”...
