英漢新詞語的認(rèn)知闡釋

  詞匯是語言系統(tǒng)里面最活躍的因素。隨著政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)和國際交流的發(fā)展,新詞語層出不窮。新詞語是新近出現(xiàn)的,可以表達(dá)新思想、新觀點,用來描述新現(xiàn)象、新事物的詞語。新詞通常是在語言形式上體現(xiàn)出新,新詞的創(chuàng)造是基于人們的生活體驗和對世界的認(rèn)知方式,每一個新詞在意義構(gòu)建過程中也會受到認(rèn)知規(guī)律的制約。前人對新詞語做過不少研究,但多從詞匯學(xué)角度對新詞的構(gòu)成方式進(jìn)行研究或是從社會語言學(xué)的角度對新詞產(chǎn)生的社會文化背景進(jìn)行分析,很少有學(xué)者從認(rèn)知語言學(xué)的角度來研究和解釋新詞是如何形成的。本文將從認(rèn)知的角度對比研究英漢新詞語,探討它們之間的異同,進(jìn)一步驗證人類認(rèn)知的普遍性和共同規(guī)律。本文的研究有助于人們從一個新的視角認(rèn)識詞匯的產(chǎn)生過程,促進(jìn)外語學(xué)習(xí)。 本研究以英漢新詞語為研究對象,英語語料來自英語新詞網(wǎng)站W(wǎng)ord Spy收錄的從2003年至2008年間的新詞;漢語語料主要來自教育部語言文學(xué)管理司策劃,南開大學(xué)中文系周薦教授主編的《2006漢語新詞語》和《2007漢語新詞語》,這兩本書中同時也收錄2003年、2004年、2005年和2008年的漢語新詞語。這些新詞語均覆蓋藝術(shù)、商業(yè)、計算機(jī)、服飾、食品、法律、政治、...
