本文采用Bhatia的體裁分析方法,對比分析中國和美國大學(xué)主頁上的校長歡迎辭這一語篇。為此,本文收集并建立了一個包含30篇中國大學(xué)校長歡迎辭和30篇美國大學(xué)校長歡迎辭的語料庫,從語步結(jié)構(gòu)和文本分析兩個角度展開對比研究。研究主要發(fā)現(xiàn)如下:首先,中美大學(xué)校長歡迎辭的主要交際目的都是宣傳本學(xué)校的優(yōu)勢和特色。其次,在語步結(jié)構(gòu)上,中美大學(xué)校長歡迎辭各由10個常見的語步組成,其中7個為兩者共有,其余三個則為各自特有的語步。除了共有語步和特有語步外,中美校長歡迎辭還各自擁有一些邊緣語步和獨(dú)特語步。7個共有語步的特點(diǎn)之一是都由一個必要步驟決定其內(nèi)容。此外,我們還發(fā)現(xiàn)中國大學(xué)校長歡迎辭的語步擁有更多的選擇性步驟。對文本的語言特征分析則發(fā)現(xiàn)中美大學(xué)都使用大量的形容詞來突出描寫本學(xué)校的特色,以此來吸引學(xué)生。同時,不同語步在關(guān)鍵詞和人稱代詞的使用上也存在顯著差異。相比美國大學(xué)校長歡迎辭,中國大學(xué)校長歡迎辭在語篇結(jié)構(gòu)上較松散,缺乏較強(qiáng)的一致性。同時,在語言使用上,雙方也存在明顯差異。最后,本文概況總結(jié)了這些差異所反映的中美大學(xué)之間的不同點(diǎn),并從兩國不同的社會和文化背景角度探討了造成這種差異的原因。本文對中國大學(xué)...
