文化視角下看口譯中的語用失誤

語言是文化的載體和重要組成部分。各民族擁有的獨特的歷史、文化傳統(tǒng)、生活習(xí)俗、思維方式和表達(dá)方式,都必定會在語言中表現(xiàn)出來?谧g作為一種重要的跨文化交際手段,能否幫助交流雙方跨越不同文化之間的差異,實現(xiàn)交際的最終目的,無疑是衡量其質(zhì)量的主要標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。然而在口譯實踐中,文化及語用因素經(jīng)常被忽視或誤解,容易導(dǎo)致源語信息的錯誤解碼和理解,甚至導(dǎo)致語用失誤。語用失誤的概念是由Jenny Thomas博士于1983年在《跨文化語用失誤》中提出的。它指的是跨文化交際中的不恰當(dāng)表達(dá),與語言失誤是不同的概念?谧g中的語用失誤由于不易被察覺,常常被譯者忽略,最終導(dǎo)致交際失敗。本論文以語用學(xué)理論為基礎(chǔ),探究語用失誤的本質(zhì),分析了口譯中語用失誤背后所折射出的文化差異,并進(jìn)一步探討了語用失誤的原因和減少、避免語用失誤的方法策略,最后給出了相應(yīng)的教學(xué)建議。首先,作者從定義出發(fā),對語用失誤進(jìn)行分類,并分析了每種類型語用失誤的成因。作者接著結(jié)合口譯實例,指出了一系列與文化相關(guān)的語用特征,并分析了由中西方文化在這些特征方面的差異而產(chǎn)生的語用失誤類型及其根源。最后,作者接著語言習(xí)得理論提出了自己對提高口譯員跨文化交際能力的建...
