英漢死亡委婉語文化內(nèi)涵對比研究

委婉語作為一種文化詞匯,在交際過程中常常會造成誤解或不理解,在雙語交際中這一點(diǎn)表現(xiàn)得尤為突出,究其原因有兩點(diǎn);即,不了解委婉語的特征和生成過程是一方面,另一方面,缺乏相關(guān)文化知識也是重要原因之一。目前絕大多數(shù)探討委婉語的文章都是從詞匯學(xué)、社會語言學(xué)和語用學(xué)等角度展開的。比較而言,從跨文化角度來討論委婉語的文章顯得不多,特別是深入的專題研究更是少之又少,并且在這些為數(shù)不多的研究中主觀性結(jié)論較多,而統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)和實驗結(jié)果的支持則顯得比較缺乏。跨文化交際學(xué)究其本質(zhì)而言是一種文化比較,而詞語文化內(nèi)涵的研究更是跨文化交際研究的一個重要組成部分。本文把作為眾多文化詞匯中的一種委婉語設(shè)為一個大的研究方向,而把死亡委婉語作為目標(biāo)研究對象,將對其涵義作跨文化的對比研究,尤其關(guān)注其中的文化差異,其研究目的在于幫助學(xué)生弄清造成語言表面形態(tài)差異的深層文化原因,以便使現(xiàn)實中的跨文化交際順利進(jìn)行,為文化教學(xué)實踐提供具體案例。死亡委婉語是眾多委婉語中的一種,英漢死亡委婉語都很豐富,其在文化、歷史、心理、認(rèn)知等方面既有相同又有差異。本文擬采用語言對比的相關(guān)理論,對英漢死亡委婉語進(jìn)行比較。本文所對比中英死亡委婉語詞條來自于...
