一詞多義是人類(lèi)語(yǔ)言中的普遍現(xiàn)象,多年來(lái)一直深受?chē)?guó)內(nèi)外語(yǔ)言學(xué)家及研究者的關(guān)注。數(shù)詞是現(xiàn)代漢語(yǔ)和英語(yǔ)詞匯系統(tǒng)中獨(dú)立的詞類(lèi)之一,在組詞造句中起著不可或缺的作用。既然一詞多義是人類(lèi)語(yǔ)言的普遍現(xiàn)象,那么數(shù)詞也就不可避免地會(huì)發(fā)生語(yǔ)義的引申。數(shù)詞的語(yǔ)義引申機(jī)制以及該機(jī)制是如何在數(shù)詞內(nèi)部發(fā)生作用的,前人的研究卻沒(méi)有涉及到這一方面。《現(xiàn)代漢語(yǔ)詞典》（以下簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)《現(xiàn)漢》）是一部漢語(yǔ)辭書(shū)中影響最為深遠(yuǎn)的權(quán)威辭書(shū),同時(shí)也是漢語(yǔ)理論研究成果與詞典編纂實(shí)踐結(jié)合的產(chǎn)物。同時(shí),《柯林斯高階英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)詞典》（英文版）也是一部很有權(quán)威的英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)詞典。我們從《現(xiàn)漢》和《柯林斯高階英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)詞典》中分別收集到62和72個(gè)有數(shù)詞義項(xiàng)的單詞。在這些有數(shù)詞義項(xiàng)的單詞中,有些詞是單義的,我們從中篩選出有發(fā)生了語(yǔ)義引申的單詞共26和29個(gè),然后我們用范疇化（包括去范疇化和再范疇化）,語(yǔ)法隱喻和語(yǔ)法轉(zhuǎn)喻對(duì)其引起語(yǔ)義引申進(jìn)行分析。在漢語(yǔ)數(shù)詞分析時(shí),我們還運(yùn)用了《現(xiàn)代漢語(yǔ)規(guī)范詞典》和北京大學(xué)漢語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言學(xué)研究中心的語(yǔ)料庫(kù)作為輔助。通過(guò)分析發(fā)現(xiàn),現(xiàn)代漢語(yǔ)數(shù)詞和英語(yǔ)數(shù)詞的語(yǔ)義引申機(jī)制并不完全一樣,從而可以幫助詞典編纂者更好地對(duì)詞典編纂中多義詞條進(jìn)行處理,...
