語法隱喻視角下英漢感知句對比研究

感知是指人類通過其感官對外部世界的認知和理解。作為一種高級的身體和智力活動,對人類經(jīng)驗具有重要作用。本文在功能語言學語法隱喻理論框架下,對英漢感知句做了對比研究。感知句的一致式應(yīng)符合以下語義標準:主參與者為感知者,具有生命性和相應(yīng)的感知能力,次參與者為現(xiàn)象,具有可被感性。按照違反標準的不同區(qū)分出感知句的隱喻式,進而對英漢常見感知隱喻句進行及物性過程分析并對比。通過分析,我們得出如下結(jié)論:首先,英漢感知句從一致式到隱喻式都經(jīng)歷了“所感(seeing)”到“所知(knowing)”到“所歷(experiencing)”的過程,動詞的施事性逐漸增強。一致式與隱喻式具有形似性的過程轉(zhuǎn)移主要出現(xiàn)在心理過程內(nèi)部之間的投射。一致式與隱喻式不具有形似性的非形似類語法隱喻的隱喻式為感知句,一致式為物質(zhì)句,發(fā)生在由視覺域向物質(zhì)域投射過程中。在對英漢語感知句進行及物性分析過程中發(fā)現(xiàn)跨域投射既可以發(fā)生在不同及物性過程之間,也可以發(fā)生在同一過程不同次過程之間。其次,感知句的隱喻式所用動詞為基本范疇詞和概況語義詞,而非含具體動作義特征的感知詞。例如英語“看”類動詞中只有see和witness可以發(fā)生隱喻,而gla...
