模因論視角下的中英網(wǎng)絡(luò)語(yǔ)言對(duì)比
[Abstract]:In the 21st century, we are in an era deeply influenced by the network, and this kind of influence will continue to expand and change our way of life, learning, working, thinking and so on. We should never ignore the power of language, network language as a language, and as a product of the new era, more worthy of our in-depth study. To explore the causes behind the network language is to explore every bit of our life. The emergence of network language is accompanied by the rise of the network came into being. Network fast, convenient, efficient and other features make it easy to understand the birth of network language. More and more people begin to use network language, which is irreversible. With its increasing influence, network language has attracted the attention of some linguists. Memetics is a new and dynamic subject in the field of pragmatics, which attracts more and more experts and scholars. Memetics is a new theory based on the new Darwinian theory of evolution to explain the law of cultural evolution. It provides a more fundamental explanation for understanding the world and life. Meme, based on imitation, is the basic unit of cultural information transmission. It is inherited like a gene and spread everywhere like a virus. This kind of propagation characteristic of meme makes it have a kind of natural intrinsic relation with the spread of network language. The principle of "survival of the fittest" in the theory of biological evolution also applies to network language. For network languages, they have their own meme screening criteria. The purpose of this paper is to make a contrastive analysis of Chinese and English network languages from the perspective of memetics. By collecting some network terms that are popular in China and the United States, this paper classifies and analyzes different types of network languages, and explains its causes from the perspective of memetics. This paper focuses on how language memes are widely disseminated in different linguistic environments. It is found that the way of word formation and user composition are very similar in Chinese and English network languages, but there are great differences in the content of network languages, which is related to the cultural differences between the two languages. From the perspective of memes, both language memes follow similar propagation characteristics. From the perspective of memetics, the comparative study of Internet language between China and the United States is a brand-new attempt, which can reflect how network language evolves and transforms in different linguistic environments. It provides a supplement and deepening research for the evolutionary viewpoint of memes.
