[Abstract]:The study of Contemporary catchwords, written by Zheng Xu Chaohui, was published by Jinan University Press in October 2013. This paper mainly analyzes the causes of the emergence of catchwords, probes into the laws and influences of campus buzzwords, network catchwords and dialect catchwords, and studies the characteristics of catchwords in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. This paper expounds the value of catchwords in rhetoric and pragmatics. The study of catchwords is a relatively new subject, and the study of Contemporary catchwords is helpful to expand the study of Chinese vocabulary.
