口譯潛能研究綜述

【摘要】:口譯潛能的研究最早開始于上世紀60年代,初期研究較少并且集中在對于理想譯員應(yīng)具備的素質(zhì)和技能的討論上,但是近年來越來越多的國外研究者開始關(guān)注使用何種測試手段來測量口譯潛能,為選拔有天賦口譯學員的入學篩選考試提供指導。本研究回顧總結(jié)了國外關(guān)于口譯潛能的研究,以填補口譯潛能的綜述性研究空白并為將來的進一步研究提供啟示。 本研究以1965年到2012年間在國外口譯相關(guān)期刊所發(fā)表的有關(guān)口譯潛能的文章為研究對象,試圖從國外口譯潛能研究概況以及口譯潛能研究的范圍這兩個角度進行分析。 對國外口譯潛能研究的概況分析表明,,口譯潛能研究經(jīng)歷了起步,轉(zhuǎn)型,鞏固與繁榮四個階段;口譯潛能研究者主要有職業(yè)譯員,口譯教師兼職業(yè)譯員以及認知心理科學家三種,三類研究者之間加強合作成為口譯潛能研究的主要趨勢。 在口譯潛能研究范圍方面,分析發(fā)現(xiàn)口譯教師以及口譯研究者對于能夠在口譯事業(yè)取得成功或者成為口譯學員所應(yīng)具備的潛能的觀點基本一致;關(guān)于口譯潛能測試的介紹性研究發(fā)現(xiàn)三所學校都使用了兩種以上的測試手段來考察口譯學員申請者的口譯相關(guān)技能,但是這些測試程序也由于實行整體打分制來評測受試的表現(xiàn)而在一定程度上過于主觀;而對四個追蹤型口譯潛能測試模型研究的分析表明測試手段能夠檢測出譯員必備的語言認知技能和口頭流利度,同時同義詞產(chǎn)出則是口譯潛能測試中一個較強的預測因子,但是幾個模型在評分問題以及效度測量上仍有不足;對于18所口譯學校的調(diào)查評估表明大部分學校使用概括,筆譯以及短交傳作為測試一系列口譯潛能的手段并且建議將軟技能也考慮在內(nèi)以開發(fā)新的測試方法。另外,一些專家學者也對口譯潛能測試的設(shè)計提出了一些新穎的提議。 從關(guān)于口譯潛能綜述研究中可以獲得如下啟示:實證研究成為口譯潛能研究使用的主要方法,并且注重與其他學科相結(jié)合,代表性作者較為集中,Moser,Russo等人的研究觀點較大的影響了口譯潛能研究的動向,可以積極開發(fā)同義詞產(chǎn)出有關(guān)的測試形式,各培訓項目間可加強合作以開發(fā)更有實際操作價值的口譯潛能測試。
[Abstract]:The study of the potential of interpretation first began in the 60s of last century. The initial study was less and focused on the quality and skill of the ideal interpreter. However, in recent years, more and more foreign researchers began to pay attention to what kind of testing methods used to measure the potential of interpretation, and to select the entrance examination for talented interpreters. This study reviews and summarizes foreign studies on the potential of interpretation to fill the gaps in the potential of interpretation and provide insights for future further research.
This study aims at the research on the potential of interpretation published by foreign interpreters from 1965 to 2012, and tries to analyze the two perspectives of the research on the potential of foreign interpretation and the scope of the study of the potential of interpretation.
The general analysis of the study of foreign interpretation potential shows that the study of interpretation potential has experienced four stages: the beginning, the transformation, the consolidation and the prosperity; the interpreter potential researchers mainly have professional interpreters, interpretation teachers and professional interpreters and three cognitive psychological scientists, and the strengthening of cooperation among the three types of researchers has become the main trend of the study of interpretation potential.
In terms of the scope of the study of interpretation potential, it is found that the interpreter teachers and interpreters have the same views on the ability to succeed in the interpretation of the interpreter or to be the potential of the interpreter. An introductory study on the test of interpretation potential found that three schools have used more than two testing methods to examine the mouth. The interpretation related skills of applicants are translated, but the test procedures are too subjective to some extent by the implementation of the overall scoring system to evaluate the performance of the subjects; and the analysis of the four tracking model of the potential test model shows that the test means can detect the necessary language cognitive skills and oral fluency of the interpreters. At the same time, synonym output is a strong predictor in the test of interpretation potential, but several models still have shortcomings in scoring and validity measurement; the evaluation of 18 interpreters shows that most schools use generalizations, translation and short communication as a means to test a series of interpreters' potential and suggest that it will be soft. Skills are also taken into account to develop new testing methods. In addition, some experts and scholars have also made some new proposals for the design of interpretation potential test.
From the summary of interpretation potential, we can get the following enlightenment: empirical research becomes the main method of interpreting the potential of interpreting potential, and it pays attention to the combination of other subjects, the concentration of representative authors, Moser, Russo and others have a great influence on the research trend of interpretation potential, and can actively develop the output of synonyms. In the form of testing, cooperation among training programs can be enhanced to develop more practical interpreting potential tests.
