積極話語(yǔ)分析視角下的基督教在華賑災(zāi)報(bào)道評(píng)價(jià)分析

【摘要】:近代以來(lái),隨著西方基督教在中國(guó)的傳播與發(fā)展,在華基督教會(huì)積極投入到中國(guó)各地歷次救災(zāi)活動(dòng)之中。本論文主要以中國(guó)大陸以往研究中較少利用的《教務(wù)雜志》和《中國(guó)基督教年鑒》為主要資料,以評(píng)價(jià)理論為框架,從積極話語(yǔ)分析的視角對(duì)基督教在華賑災(zāi)報(bào)道語(yǔ)篇中的評(píng)價(jià)資源進(jìn)行研究。這種新的分析角度嘗試用建設(shè)性的態(tài)度對(duì)待話語(yǔ)分析,這有利于維系人際關(guān)系,特別是促進(jìn)緩和當(dāng)時(shí)民眾對(duì)基督教的排斥心理,以此來(lái)構(gòu)建和諧關(guān)系。評(píng)價(jià)理論是對(duì)韓禮德提出的系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)法中人際元功能的補(bǔ)充和發(fā)展。評(píng)價(jià)理論主要對(duì)語(yǔ)篇中作者或說(shuō)話者對(duì)多種評(píng)價(jià)資源所表現(xiàn)的態(tài)度、觀點(diǎn)和立場(chǎng)進(jìn)行分析。本文嘗試以評(píng)價(jià)理論為分析框架,對(duì)1910-1925年《教務(wù)雜志》和《中國(guó)基督教年鑒》中的15篇基督教在華賑災(zāi)報(bào)道進(jìn)行積極話語(yǔ)分析。本文對(duì)以下問(wèn)題進(jìn)行了探討:第一,積極話語(yǔ)分析與評(píng)價(jià)理論的結(jié)合是否適用于分析賑災(zāi)報(bào)道語(yǔ)篇;第二,所選語(yǔ)篇中的評(píng)價(jià)資源的分布及特點(diǎn);第三,積極話語(yǔ)分析視角下評(píng)價(jià)資源是如何來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)基督教和中國(guó)民眾和諧關(guān)系的積極意義。本研究通過(guò)定性和定量的方法對(duì)語(yǔ)料進(jìn)行積極話語(yǔ)分析后得出以下結(jié)論:第一,通過(guò)從積極方面對(duì)評(píng)價(jià)資源進(jìn)行闡釋,積極詞匯的頻繁使用與數(shù)據(jù)的整體分析確保了積極話語(yǔ)分析與評(píng)價(jià)理論的有效融合。第二,語(yǔ)料的評(píng)價(jià)資源在態(tài)度、介入和級(jí)差系統(tǒng)中分配不均衡,各子系統(tǒng)評(píng)價(jià)資源所占比例不盡相同。態(tài)度子系統(tǒng)中的評(píng)價(jià)資源比例最大,其次是介入系統(tǒng),最后是級(jí)差系統(tǒng)。態(tài)度系統(tǒng)中評(píng)價(jià)資源分布情況為:判斷占比例最大,其次是鑒賞,最后是情感;介入系統(tǒng)中話語(yǔ)擴(kuò)展比例大于話語(yǔ)收縮;級(jí)差系統(tǒng)中語(yǔ)勢(shì)比例遠(yuǎn)高于聚焦比例。且所選語(yǔ)料中正面的評(píng)價(jià)資源高于負(fù)面。第三,通過(guò)對(duì)所選語(yǔ)料中的評(píng)價(jià)資源進(jìn)行積極話語(yǔ)分析,對(duì)基督教在賑災(zāi)方面的能力和毅力的積極態(tài)度資源的使用來(lái)勸導(dǎo)民眾改變對(duì)基督教的態(tài)度;介入資源中擴(kuò)張資源為讀者和作者之間的互動(dòng)與交流打開(kāi)了對(duì)話空間;且在級(jí)差資源中對(duì)災(zāi)難的強(qiáng)化短語(yǔ)描述與對(duì)基督教參與賑災(zāi)活動(dòng)所作出的努力的量化描述形成的鮮明對(duì)比實(shí)現(xiàn)了勸說(shuō)效果,向民眾展現(xiàn)了真實(shí)具體的友善的基督教的形象,故而緩和民眾對(duì)基督教的排斥?傊,本文是對(duì)基督教在華賑災(zāi)報(bào)道的積極話語(yǔ)分析的一次探索,主要從態(tài)度、介入和級(jí)差三方面進(jìn)行了分析。未來(lái)積極話語(yǔ)分析應(yīng)在對(duì)賑災(zāi)報(bào)道及其他領(lǐng)域做一些更多的積極探索。
[Abstract]:Since modern times, with the spread and development of Western Christianity in China, the Christian Church in China has been actively engaged in all kinds of disaster relief activities. This thesis mainly takes the academic Administration Journal and the Chinese Christian Yearbook, which were seldom used in previous studies in mainland China, as the main data, and takes the evaluation theory as the framework. This paper studies the evaluation resources of Christian disaster relief reports in China from the perspective of positive discourse analysis. This new perspective tries to treat discourse analysis with a constructive attitude, which is conducive to maintaining interpersonal relationships, especially to ease the rejection of Christianity at that time, so as to build a harmonious relationship. Evaluation theory is the complement and development of interpersonal metafunctions in Halliday's systemic functional grammar. Evaluation theory mainly analyzes the attitudes, viewpoints and positions of the author or speaker towards a variety of evaluation resources. This paper attempts to make a positive discourse analysis of 15 Christian disaster relief reports in 1910-1925 in the Journal of Educational Administration and the Chinese Christian Yearbook based on the theory of evaluation. This paper explores the following issues: first, whether the combination of positive discourse analysis and evaluation theory is applicable to the analysis of disaster relief reports; second, the distribution and characteristics of evaluation resources in the selected discourse; and thirdly, the distribution and characteristics of the evaluation resources in the selected discourse. From the perspective of positive discourse analysis, how to evaluate the positive significance of the harmonious relationship between Christianity and Chinese people. In this study, the positive discourse analysis of the corpus is carried out by qualitative and quantitative methods. The conclusions are as follows: first, the evaluation resources are interpreted from the positive aspects. The frequent use of positive words and the overall analysis of data ensure the effective integration of the theory of positive discourse analysis and evaluation. Secondly, the evaluation resources of corpus are distributed unevenly in attitude, intervention and differential system, and the proportion of evaluation resources in each subsystem is different. Attitude subsystem has the largest proportion of evaluation resources, followed by intervention system and differential system. The distribution of evaluation resources in attitude system is as follows: judgment is the largest proportion followed by appreciation and finally emotion; in intervention system the proportion of discourse expansion is greater than that of discourse contraction; the proportion of speech potential in differential system is much higher than that of focus. The positive evaluation resources in the selected corpus are higher than the negative ones. Thirdly, through the positive discourse analysis of the evaluation resources in the selected corpus, the positive attitude resources of the ability and perseverance of Christianity in disaster relief are used to persuade the public to change their attitude towards Christianity; The expansion of resources in the intervening resources opens up a dialogue space for the interaction and exchange between the reader and the author; In contrast to the quantitative description of Christianity's efforts in disaster relief, the description of the disaster reinforcement phrase in the differential resources achieves the persuasive effect and shows the image of the true, concrete and friendly Christianity to the public. As a result, the rejection of Christianity was alleviated. In a word, this paper explores the positive discourse analysis of Christian disaster relief reports in China, mainly from the attitude, intervention and differential analysis. The future positive discourse analysis should make more positive exploration on disaster relief reports and other fields.
