【摘要】：本文旨在指出在翻譯研究文化轉(zhuǎn)向的過程中,當(dāng)今翻譯研究領(lǐng)域出現(xiàn)的問題,通過實證研究證明這些問題給翻譯實踐帶來的不良后果,并以翻譯學(xué)歸結(jié)論為理論基石提出解決問題的方法。本文首先肯定了文化學(xué)派提出的文化轉(zhuǎn)向給翻譯研究領(lǐng)域帶來的積極影響,并肯定了該學(xué)派所推崇的文化因素對翻譯卻有積極影響。隨后,本文指出文化學(xué)派夸大了文化之于翻譯的意義,過分強調(diào)文化在翻譯中至高無上的地位,并忽視語言這一影響翻譯的本質(zhì)因素。對文化因素的過度推崇使文化學(xué)派不能認(rèn)清何為翻譯的本質(zhì)、何為翻譯研究的本體,使其盲目又片面地否定之前學(xué)派在語言問題上的研究成果,使得文化學(xué)派的翻譯理論與翻譯實踐脫節(jié),有些甚至誤導(dǎo)了翻譯實踐,并且模糊翻譯研究與其它學(xué)科之間的學(xué)科界限。在文化轉(zhuǎn)向過程中產(chǎn)生的上述一系列問題最終導(dǎo)致了翻譯質(zhì)量不斷下降,而實證研究進(jìn)一步證明幾乎所有類型的譯者都在實際翻譯中暴露了語言能力上的不足。面對如此危急現(xiàn)狀,當(dāng)今譯學(xué)界亟需找尋正確的翻譯研究之道。而在眾說紛紜之時,趙彥春教授提出的翻譯學(xué)歸結(jié)論不失為一個解決問題的好理論。這一理論強調(diào)理清翻譯的本質(zhì)以及翻譯研究的本體,并弱化與翻譯無直接和必然關(guān)系的因素在翻譯研究中的地位。這也正是真正的翻譯研究之道。總而言之,本文通過理論分析與實踐相結(jié)合,證明了語言與文化對翻譯研究和翻譯實踐都有重要影響,但文化是次要因素,語言才是主要因素。本文建議翻譯研究應(yīng)重點關(guān)注語言轉(zhuǎn)換;翻譯研究的不同學(xué)派應(yīng)放下偏見、互相取長補短;高校及培訓(xùn)機(jī)構(gòu)應(yīng)注重培養(yǎng)譯者的雙語言、雙文化能力;而譯者本身則可通過廣泛閱讀、涉獵各個領(lǐng)域的書籍來提高翻譯水平。
