【摘要】：翻譯是一種藝術(shù),特別是文學(xué)翻譯。文學(xué)作品,使用了藝術(shù)手法,表達(dá)了某種思想內(nèi)容和風(fēng)格意境。因此文學(xué)翻譯光傳達(dá)意思是不夠的,翻譯后還應(yīng)該是藝術(shù)品,保存原作的感情,韻味,意境和風(fēng)格,有豐富感染力,給人以美的感受。 《紅樓夢》是一部反映中國封建社會、文化、歷史、生活的百科全書,它突出的文學(xué)成就以及藝術(shù)魅力吸引了許多翻譯家把它翻譯成各種語言。這些譯本為跨文化交流作出了重要的貢獻(xiàn).其中最成功的英譯版本是楊憲益夫婦所翻譯的"A Dream of Red Mansions"和英國漢學(xué)家戴維·霍克斯(David Hawks)翻譯的"The Story of the Stone",這兩譯本無論是對促進(jìn)中外文化的交流,介紹中國的古典文化遺產(chǎn),還是對譯者主體性的研究都具有重要意義。 近年來,隨著翻譯學(xué)的文化轉(zhuǎn)向,譯者作為翻譯這一活動的中心和主體,是架起源語言文化和譯語語言文化的橋梁,譯者的主體性作用在翻譯研究中逐漸彰顯,逐步受到國內(nèi)外翻譯學(xué)者的關(guān)注并成為翻譯界的研究熱點。譯者的主體意識即譯者在翻譯過程中體現(xiàn)的一種自覺的人格意識、創(chuàng)造意識和審美意識。 文學(xué)翻譯中譯者的主體性,主要體現(xiàn)在對原作思想內(nèi)容和風(fēng)格特色的把握和再現(xiàn)兩個方面。這種主體意識的存在與否、強(qiáng)與弱都在整個翻譯過程留下了深刻的烙印,并直接影響了譯本的質(zhì)量。目的論認(rèn)為：翻譯是一種有目的的行為活動,翻譯的目的決定整個翻澤過程。同樣地,譯文是否“充分”地實現(xiàn)了翻譯的目的成為評價譯文好壞的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。所以本文試圖借助于功能主義目的論同時綜合歸化和異化,以《紅樓夢》的兩譯本為依托,將里面的經(jīng)典文化翻譯作為研究對象,探討了影響譯者主體性發(fā)揮的因素,并將譯者主體性發(fā)揮的重要作用分解到譯者的翻譯過程中,以此比較不同譯者帶來的不同效果。關(guān)于澤者主體性研究的文章已經(jīng)很多,但本文仍然把這一觀點重提是因為他與當(dāng)下我國倡導(dǎo)的“以人為本”的思想不謀而合。
