【摘要】：唐詩是我國優(yōu)秀的文學遺產(chǎn)之一,也是全世界文學寶庫中的一顆燦爛的明珠。唐詩歷來是中外詩歌愛好者的研究重點,被譯介成各種文字,尤以英文為盛。大量用典是唐詩的一大特點。典故蘊涵著濃厚的民族文化印記與民族特質,包含了豐富的文化信息,因此譯者只有領會其文化內涵并遵循一定的翻譯技巧,才能把典故所蘊含的文化信息準確地傳達出來�；谇叭搜芯�,本文試圖從社會符號學視角探討唐詩典故的翻譯。 社會符號學在翻譯領域的廣泛應用,為翻譯的研究發(fā)展打開了另一扇窗。很多專家學者對社會符號學理論在翻譯中的應用進行過研究,表明了社會符號學對翻譯策略的指導作用。社會符號學翻譯方法以“意義相符,功能相似”為標準,“意義相符”是指指稱意義、言內意義和語用意義的相符；“功能相似”是指語言的信息功能、表達功能和祈使功能的相似。 社會符號學翻譯法明確了語言、文化、社會和語境的不可分割性。唐詩中的典故承載著豐富的文化內涵。典故作為一種語言符號,透過社會符號學視角,能夠充分地傳達其中的文化蘊含,更好地分析其社會和文化背景。 除引言和結語部分之外,論文分三個章節(jié)。在論文引言部分,作者介紹了國內外對唐詩典故翻譯的研究現(xiàn)狀,本論文的研究意義,并概述了論文的基本結構。第一章介紹了唐詩典故,包括典故的定義、來源和作用；第二章介紹了社會符號學翻譯方法,重點分析了社會符號學翻譯方法的標準“意義相符,功能相似”和優(yōu)勢,引介了美國哲學家莫里斯提出的意義三分法——指稱意義、言內意義和語用意義。第三章具體分析了譯書《唐詩三百首新譯》中唐詩典故翻譯的策略,譯者會有側重地運用直譯、借用、音譯、意譯、加注法、轉換視角等策略,從而更完善地向讀者傳遞典故蘊含的文化蘊意。論文結論部分扼要重述了論文的觀點,分析論文的局限性,冀望更多關于典故翻譯的研究涌現(xiàn)。
