【摘要】：1996年,美國(guó)人類學(xué)家加利.帕爾默出版了他的專著《文化語(yǔ)言學(xué)理論構(gòu)建》。帕爾默文化語(yǔ)言學(xué)在認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)上,將文化因素納入意象研究,把意象作為文化語(yǔ)言學(xué)的核心概念,他認(rèn)為以意象為窗口,可以窺視各個(gè)民族語(yǔ)言使用者之間的內(nèi)心世界和思維模式。 詩(shī)歌是語(yǔ)言的精華,意象是詩(shī)歌的靈魂。詩(shī)歌的內(nèi)涵和作者賦予的情感是由具體的意象生發(fā)而來(lái)的,對(duì)意象的解讀是詩(shī)歌審美的關(guān)鍵,也是詩(shī)歌翻譯的重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)。唐詩(shī)被譽(yù)為我國(guó)文化的瑰寶,蘊(yùn)含著各種豐富的意象。 語(yǔ)言是文化的載體和映射,而且顏色詞是語(yǔ)言中的一部分。借助于色彩,唐代詩(shī)人為我們描繪了許多美麗動(dòng)人的畫卷。紛繁的色彩表現(xiàn)了詩(shī)人豐富的內(nèi)心世界,再現(xiàn)了唐代的社會(huì)生活。色彩意象的藝術(shù)表現(xiàn)力和感染力在唐詩(shī)中達(dá)到了頂峰。盡管翻譯界對(duì)唐詩(shī)的翻譯有一定的研究,但是對(duì)唐詩(shī)顏色詞意象再造的研究卻并不多見。 本文以帕爾默文化語(yǔ)言學(xué)為視角,從其核心概念——意象入手,分析和比較了唐詩(shī)英譯中顏色詞意象再造,對(duì)意象翻譯進(jìn)行了探討。意象再造是一個(gè)復(fù)雜的過(guò)程,譯者要有跨文化的意識(shí),盡可能傳達(dá)出色彩意象的表現(xiàn)形式及其暗含的文化含義。在意象再造過(guò)程中,譯者還要靈活的運(yùn)用各種翻譯方法和策略,把握好局部與整體的關(guān)系。 總而言之,完美的意象再造既有益于譯文讀者對(duì)原文的理解和對(duì)源語(yǔ)文化的認(rèn)識(shí)與了解,同時(shí)又能夠傳遞一種真實(shí)的審美體驗(yàn)。進(jìn)而,使譯文讀者和詩(shī)人產(chǎn)生共鳴,達(dá)到文化傳播與交流的目的。
