【摘要】：在語(yǔ)言和文化的交流方面,翻譯起著極其重要的作用,文學(xué)翻譯也不例外。文學(xué)翻譯在一定程度上促進(jìn)了譯入語(yǔ)文學(xué)的形成。然而,譯者作為翻譯活動(dòng)中最活躍的主體,角色作用盡管沒(méi)有發(fā)生變化,但其地位在過(guò)去的幾十年里卻從長(zhǎng)時(shí)期的隱形走向凸顯,尤其是在西方的“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”之后,譯者的地位問(wèn)題得到了應(yīng)有的關(guān)注。文學(xué)翻譯被認(rèn)為是藝術(shù)的再創(chuàng)造,加之實(shí)質(zhì)性的特點(diǎn)—模糊性,使得原本就客觀存在的譯者主體性在文學(xué)翻譯中更加明顯。譯者的主體性主要體現(xiàn)在其在各種因素的約束和限制下在語(yǔ)言和文化間的磋商中的積極主動(dòng)性。其中,各種因素的約束和限制是通過(guò)譯者來(lái)起作用。通過(guò)對(duì)翻譯實(shí)例的分析,本文嘗試從文化視角針對(duì)翻譯的三個(gè)層面分析文學(xué)翻譯中譯者的主體性。在第一個(gè)層面,譯者的主體性主要體現(xiàn)在譯者選擇何種譯本以及對(duì)譯本的必要?jiǎng)h改。譯者必須考慮原作的意識(shí)形態(tài)與譯入語(yǔ)的主流意識(shí)形態(tài)是否相悖。譯者抑或選擇具有類(lèi)似或積極作用的意識(shí)形態(tài)的原作抑或?qū)υ鬟M(jìn)行必要的刪改,否則,譯文將不受歡迎、遭到批判甚至根本沒(méi)機(jī)會(huì)出版。在第二個(gè)層面,譯者的文化立場(chǎng)即譯者對(duì)待譯入語(yǔ)文化和源語(yǔ)文化的態(tài)度決定了翻譯策略的選擇,從而導(dǎo)致譯文各異。歸化或者異化翻譯策略的選擇都是譯者主體性的體現(xiàn)。第三個(gè)層面是語(yǔ)言層面。翻譯必然涉及兩種語(yǔ)言的轉(zhuǎn)換,而譯者的美學(xué)感悟、語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)以及目的語(yǔ)讀者的文化水平和身份直接影響譯文的語(yǔ)言和風(fēng)格。通過(guò)譯例分析,本文發(fā)現(xiàn)譯者的主體性,有意識(shí)或下意識(shí)地,貫穿翻譯的整個(gè)過(guò)程。
