【摘要】：本文主要研究如何評(píng)價(jià)某部文學(xué)翻譯作品的問題。作者認(rèn)為,傳統(tǒng)的文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)大多局限于文本的分析比較,難以適應(yīng)翻譯研究的“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”給這門學(xué)科提出的新要求。論文首先把文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)定位為翻譯實(shí)踐的一部分,翻譯理論和翻譯實(shí)踐的日益發(fā)展呼喚文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)體制的成熟。文章繼而羅列了各派翻譯理論對(duì)翻譯批評(píng)的思考,目的在于吸收各派有建設(shè)性的意見,從而形成比較合理的文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)新思路。 對(duì)翻譯批評(píng)中經(jīng)常涉及到的兩個(gè)概念:對(duì)等概念和忠實(shí)概念,文章提出了新的理解,并提出文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)可以借鑒最新的翻譯批評(píng)思潮,嘗試從翻譯主體——譯者和接受主體——讀者這兩方面出發(fā)盡量客觀公允地評(píng)價(jià)某部譯作。這一翻譯批評(píng)新模式的提出有助于我們擺脫傳統(tǒng)模式的桎梏。 在這一翻譯評(píng)價(jià)模式的基礎(chǔ)上,本文還以個(gè)案研究的手法,簡(jiǎn)要分析了一部爭(zhēng)議較大的譯作——翟理斯的英譯《聊齋志異》,試圖以新的文學(xué)翻譯評(píng)價(jià)模式對(duì)這一譯本做出新的評(píng)價(jià),意在使文學(xué)翻譯批評(píng)結(jié)束單純語言層面上的對(duì)比分析,轉(zhuǎn)向包括源語文化、目的語文化和讀者接受等在內(nèi)的綜合評(píng)估。
[Abstract]:This paper focuses on how to evaluate a literary translation.The author holds that the traditional literary translation criticism is mostly confined to the analysis and comparison of the text, and it is difficult to meet the new requirements of the subject put forward by the "cultural turn" of translation studies.Firstly, literary translation criticism is regarded as a part of translation practice. The development of translation theory and practice calls for the maturity of literary translation criticism system.The article then lists the reflection of translation criticism from various translation theories, with the aim of absorbing constructive opinions from different parties and forming a more reasonable new approach to literary translation criticism.This paper puts forward a new understanding of the two concepts often involved in translation criticism: equivalence and faithfulness, and points out that literary translation criticism can draw lessons from the latest trend of thought in translation criticism.This paper tries to evaluate a certain translation objectively and fairly from the aspects of translation subject-translator and recipient subject-reader.This new mode of translation criticism helps us to get rid of the shackles of the traditional mode.On the basis of this model of translation evaluation, this paper also uses the method of case study.This paper briefly analyzes a controversial translation, Zhai Liaozhai's English translation of Liaozhai Zhi Yi, and attempts to make a new evaluation of this translation with a new literary translation evaluation model, in order to make literary translation criticism end the contrastive analysis on the pure language level.Turn to a comprehensive assessment including source language culture, target language culture and reader acceptance.
