【摘要】:英國當(dāng)代作家戴安娜·溫妮·瓊斯所著的小說《哈爾的移動城堡》曾被日本動畫大師宮崎駿改編為同名動畫電影。在該電影風(fēng)靡中國的同時,原著作品也如出水芙蓉般引起了人們的關(guān)注。近年來,對于動畫電影《哈爾的移動城堡》已有部分研究,主要關(guān)注宮崎駿的動畫技巧及媒體宣傳方面,但對于原著《哈爾的移動城堡》的各方面研究仍有相當(dāng)大的可探討空間。 本論文發(fā)現(xiàn)《哈爾的移動城堡》中充滿了對城堡空間的移動性、魔幻性和生態(tài)性的描寫,形成對傳統(tǒng)寫作中的城堡空間原型的創(chuàng)新與顛覆。所以本論文以此為切入點(diǎn),選取十四世紀(jì)、十五世紀(jì)及十八世紀(jì)傳統(tǒng)寫作中突出描寫城堡空間的文本:《高文爵士和綠衣騎士》、《亞瑟王之死》、《奧特朗托堡》,將之與《哈爾的移動城堡》中描寫的城堡空間作對比,,借助空間敘事、敘事空間及生態(tài)批評的相關(guān)理論,探討戴安娜·溫妮·瓊斯筆下塑造的城堡空間對傳統(tǒng)城堡空間的顛覆,期待能夠拓展《哈爾的移動城堡》的研究視角。 本論文分導(dǎo)論、正文、結(jié)語三部分。導(dǎo)論簡要梳理國內(nèi)外對《哈爾的移動城堡》的研究情況,闡明本文的研究方法和目的,并提出論文中要解決的問題。正文由三個章節(jié)組成: 第一章探討移動的城堡,從空間象征層面討論哈爾的移動城堡對傳統(tǒng)城堡的顛覆。通過論述瓊斯筆下移動的城堡空間與傳統(tǒng)寫作中的城堡空間在空間象征隱喻中所表現(xiàn)出來的漂泊與統(tǒng)治、還鄉(xiāng)與等待、入世和出世的對立,探討《哈爾的移動城堡》中的城堡空間在生存現(xiàn)狀、生存?zhèn)惱、生存理想方面對傳統(tǒng)城堡空間的顛覆。 第二章分析魔幻的城堡,從空間敘事層面討論哈爾的移動城堡對傳統(tǒng)城堡的顛覆。通過論述《哈爾的移動城堡》中魔幻的城堡空間與傳統(tǒng)寫作中城堡空間原型在空間敘事層面中所體現(xiàn)的共時性空間與歷時性空間、未知空間與已知空間、幻化家園與喪失家園的對立,探討瓊斯筆下城堡空間在心理社會現(xiàn)實(shí)、歷史觀、空間身份方面對傳統(tǒng)城堡空間的顛覆。 第三章論證生態(tài)的城堡,從自然整體觀層面討論哈爾的移動城堡對傳統(tǒng)城堡的顛覆。通過論述瓊斯筆下生態(tài)的城堡空間與傳統(tǒng)寫作中的城堡空間在自然整體觀層面所形成的動態(tài)與靜態(tài)、包容與防衛(wèi)、玄學(xué)詩意空間與史詩空間的對立,探討《哈爾的移動城堡》中的城堡空間在空間與生命、生存哲學(xué)、詩意空間方面對傳統(tǒng)城堡空間的顛覆。 通過三章的論證,本文得出結(jié)論,作者戴安娜·溫妮·瓊斯結(jié)合20世紀(jì)現(xiàn)代主義的文學(xué)背景和她本人的經(jīng)歷,對城堡空間的書寫進(jìn)行了創(chuàng)新,從而表現(xiàn)現(xiàn)代人在生存狀態(tài)和精神狀態(tài)上的漂泊、現(xiàn)代人強(qiáng)烈的尋根情節(jié)及對精神歸宿的渴求以及對理想的人居環(huán)境的探尋。該論文的學(xué)術(shù)意義在于,運(yùn)用空間理論分析瓊斯的《哈爾的移動城堡》,能為該小說提供新的研究視角,具有一定的創(chuàng)新性。在全球化背景下的今天,人們在頻繁移動的空間狀態(tài)下生存,該論文希望能為人們尋求寧靜致遠(yuǎn)的精神歸宿提供啟迪。
