從功能文體學(xué)視角重讀丁尼生的三首詩歌

阿爾弗雷德.丁尼生是英國維多利亞時期的主要代表詩人。他的詩歌不僅反映了他個人對社會現(xiàn)象的思考和解讀,同時也揭示了那個時代人們對新思想的疑慮、彷徨和憧憬。本論文嘗試著從功能文體學(xué)視角重讀丁尼生的三首詩歌。 功能文體學(xué)是以系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)為基礎(chǔ)的一門應(yīng)用學(xué)科。社會符號層面的三變量(話語范圍,話語基調(diào)和話語方式),語義層的三大純理功能(概念功能,人際功能和語篇功能),詞匯語法層的及物性系統(tǒng)、語氣系統(tǒng)和主述位系統(tǒng)依次為體現(xiàn)關(guān)系。 韓禮德認(rèn)為語言具有三種純理功能:作者/講話者作為觀察者的概念功能,用以表達(dá)人們的社會經(jīng)歷和內(nèi)心的心理經(jīng)驗,同時也表達(dá)事物之間的各種邏輯關(guān)系;作者/講話者作為闖入者的人際功能,旨在表達(dá)他的意見、態(tài)度、評價和他與聽話者相對角色關(guān)系;和作者/講話者作為語篇組織者的語篇功能,它把概念功能和人際功能關(guān)聯(lián)成一個整體,共同在情景語境中起作用。 本論文在總結(jié)韓禮德的功能文體學(xué)的理論和實踐的基礎(chǔ)上,選取了丁尼生的三首詩歌并用其理論進(jìn)行分析。從三大純理功能進(jìn)行分析,旨在發(fā)現(xiàn)這三首詩歌的主題和語言特征,并對其進(jìn)行解釋。此外利用功能文體學(xué)理論所特有的情景語境和文化語境對三首詩歌進(jìn)行了深層次的分...
