從功能文體學(xué)視角重讀丁尼生的三首詩(shī)歌

  阿爾弗雷德.丁尼生是英國(guó)維多利亞時(shí)期的主要代表詩(shī)人。他的詩(shī)歌不僅反映了他個(gè)人對(duì)社會(huì)現(xiàn)象的思考和解讀,同時(shí)也揭示了那個(gè)時(shí)代人們對(duì)新思想的疑慮、彷徨和憧憬。本論文嘗試著從功能文體學(xué)視角重讀丁尼生的三首詩(shī)歌。 功能文體學(xué)是以系統(tǒng)功能語(yǔ)言學(xué)為基礎(chǔ)的一門應(yīng)用學(xué)科。社會(huì)符號(hào)層面的三變量(話語(yǔ)范圍,話語(yǔ)基調(diào)和話語(yǔ)方式),語(yǔ)義層的三大純理功能(概念功能,人際功能和語(yǔ)篇功能),詞匯語(yǔ)法層的及物性系統(tǒng)、語(yǔ)氣系統(tǒng)和主述位系統(tǒng)依次為體現(xiàn)關(guān)系。 韓禮德認(rèn)為語(yǔ)言具有三種純理功能:作者/講話者作為觀察者的概念功能,用以表達(dá)人們的社會(huì)經(jīng)歷和內(nèi)心的心理經(jīng)驗(yàn),同時(shí)也表達(dá)事物之間的各種邏輯關(guān)系;作者/講話者作為闖入者的人際功能,旨在表達(dá)他的意見(jiàn)、態(tài)度、評(píng)價(jià)和他與聽(tīng)話者相對(duì)角色關(guān)系;和作者/講話者作為語(yǔ)篇組織者的語(yǔ)篇功能,它把概念功能和人際功能關(guān)聯(lián)成一個(gè)整體,共同在情景語(yǔ)境中起作用。 本論文在總結(jié)韓禮德的功能文體學(xué)的理論和實(shí)踐的基礎(chǔ)上,選取了丁尼生的三首詩(shī)歌并用其理論進(jìn)行分析。從三大純理功能進(jìn)行分析,旨在發(fā)現(xiàn)這三首詩(shī)歌的主題和語(yǔ)言特征,并對(duì)其進(jìn)行解釋。此外利用功能文體學(xué)理論所特有的情景語(yǔ)境和文化語(yǔ)境對(duì)三首詩(shī)歌進(jìn)行了深層次的分...
