復(fù)仇者的肖像——哈姆萊特猶豫的跨文化研究

  《哈姆雷特》所呈現(xiàn)的復(fù)雜人性和悲劇之美吸引了一代代讀者大眾和人文學(xué)者的關(guān)注,其中哈姆雷特作為復(fù)仇者所帶有的深沉的猶豫和憂(yōu)郁更是數(shù)百年來(lái)爭(zhēng)論不休的永恒話(huà)題。人們從時(shí)代,階級(jí)背景,心理分析等諸多層面對(duì)此進(jìn)行深入的解讀和探討,已經(jīng)取得了豐富的學(xué)術(shù)成就。 然而,絕大多數(shù)分析都是在基于西方文化自身的傳統(tǒng)語(yǔ)境中進(jìn)行。 本文試圖在前人研究基礎(chǔ)上,從跨文化的角度出發(fā),引入莎士比亞同時(shí)代的中國(guó)古典文學(xué)名著《西游記》中《烏雞國(guó)》這一則有著相似冤魂顯靈和王子復(fù)仇母題的故事, 在此故事中,中國(guó)王子的復(fù)仇帶有輕率和盲從性,而并不具有哈姆雷特的猶豫和憂(yōu)郁色彩。本文在跨文化比較的基礎(chǔ)上,著重從東方直覺(jué)頓悟型思維和西方分析型思維對(duì)比,中國(guó)巫術(shù)信仰和西方宗教信仰對(duì)比,中國(guó)環(huán)型時(shí)間觀(guān)和西方線(xiàn)形時(shí)間觀(guān)對(duì)比等三方面入手,以《烏雞國(guó)》這一異質(zhì)文化的他者為參照物,來(lái)揭示哈姆雷特的猶豫和憂(yōu)郁的文化成因——即文藝復(fù)興這一西方世界開(kāi)始擺脫神學(xué)的陰影并與東方分道揚(yáng)鑣而走向理性和科學(xué)的特定時(shí)代塑造了莎翁筆下復(fù)仇王子異于東方的氣質(zhì)——他作為一個(gè)具有不同于東方的人文主義者,對(duì)冤魂的可靠性從西方宗教觀(guān)和時(shí)間觀(guān)上加以質(zhì)疑和否定而摒棄巫術(shù)上的盲從,...
