作為一個較有爭議的文學(xué)團(tuán)體，“垮掉的一代”在美國文學(xué)史中的地位與貢獻(xiàn)一直難有定論。克魯亞克，金斯伯格等“垮掉派”作家在不為主流文化所接受的同時卻被奉為青年反文化運動的先驅(qū)。在中國，“垮掉的一代”在80年代以前少有聽聞，每一接觸，也總是被與頹廢，墮落，放蕩不羈相聯(lián)系。那么“垮掉的一代”文學(xué)運動究竟有無其價值呢?本文認(rèn)為，對“垮掉的一代”的評價不是一個是與非的問題，而是一個選擇什么角度，如何看的問題。 本論文將選取上述兩位“垮掉派”作家的經(jīng)典之作：小說《在路上》及長詩《嚎叫》，力圖通過幾個不同的角度，多側(cè)面地對“垮掉的一代”進(jìn)行考查，從而就其本身的文學(xué)主張與社會影響做一較全面的分析研究，最終還原出一個能為人所理解的“垮掉的一代”。本論文的考查，分析將從以下幾方面入手： 第一部分將對“垮掉的一代”文學(xué)運動，克魯亞克，金斯伯格及他們的作品進(jìn)行簡要介紹并回顧對這兩位作家的文學(xué)批評。 第二部分將從歷史角度出發(fā)，對二戰(zhàn)后美國的經(jīng)濟(jì)，政治及文化態(tài)勢做一描述，從而勾勒出“垮掉的一代”產(chǎn)生的歷史背景。 第三部分是對“垮掉的一代”的哲學(xué)，美學(xué)思想淵源的追溯，力圖說明美國超驗主義哲學(xué)傳...
